Fox Co-Pres. Bill Shine Out. Will Hannity Follow Him?

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on May 01, 2017 · Flag

It’s official: Fox News co-president Bill Shine has left Fox News. Shine has been implicated in the wave of sexual harassment and abuse scandals that have plagued the network. His ouster is seen as a demonstration of the company’s commitment to change.  But Sean Hannity and some of his like-minded associates see it as the end of Fox News.

Where will Fox's future viewership come from? Angry moderates? #StopTheScalpings #StandWithSean

From The New York Times article on Shine’s departure:

Mr. Shine is a veteran newsman and a longtime lieutenant to Mr. Ailes, the former chairman who was forced out amid a sexual harassment scandal in July. Although Mr. Shine was seen as a source of stability in the news division at a turbulent time, his presence was viewed by some employees as a sign that Fox News’s parent, 21st Century Fox, was not serious about its stated commitment to reform the culture of the network.

Mr. Shine had been cited in several lawsuits as someone who enabled and concealed Mr. Ailes’s behavior and dismissed concerns from women who complained about it. He has denied all wrongdoing.

According to Gabriel Sherman, Fox News women were so eager for Shine to leave they considered a formal petition demanding it:

In recent days, per source, there was talk among Fox News women about circulating a petition inside the network calling for Shine's firing.

But Sean Hannity is furious. Last week he tweeted:

Gäbe i pray this is NOT true because if it is, that's the total end of the FNC as we know it. Done. Best Sean https://t.co/W3BJ2wjzRD

Last night, Hannity engaged in an enigmatic Twitter storm threatening legal action:

There is Zero chance they can stop me with lies, attacks, slander defamation, and NOW sabotage. I have a massive army, ALL OVER THIS. SOON!! https://t.co/MWBZEQZWR2

— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) May 1, 2017

I said the same thing. Ha. And it's true. And it's not only me they r after It's anyone and everyone who publicly supports @POTUS https://t.co/TnkROg3r0d

Sadly sadly I agree with this. I have 3 high powered attorneys and 2 amazing top class investigators I have hired. They have no idea ..... https://t.co/ZGNf8DY2Fc

Thank you all irredeemable deplorable friends. I'm shutting down. Don't want to give more away than I should. A team is on this. Stay tuned https://t.co/GaQuwssV5T

A Twitter account called “StopTheScalpings” (at Fox, apparently) warns that “a wave of contributors” will follow Shine out the door.

With Shine out, expect a wave of contributors out the door with him. It will be ugly. #StandWithSean #StopTheSackings @seanhannity

Whether any of the hosts or reporters will go too, remains to be seen.

Stay tuned!

Hannocchio needs to go. Replace him with a younger host.

Finally, Bill Shine has left the building. Good riddance to this worthless man. Hannocchio thought he could save Shine’s job. He is sadly mistaken. To the Fox “News” higher up suits, Hannocchio is just a paid employee. His opinions don’t matter to anyone.

There are others who need to be thrown out of the building, including Jesse Watters and that Brandi broad.

NOTE TO FORMER AND CURRENT FEMALE AND MINORITY FOX “NEWS” EMPLOYEES

Continue to file lawsuits against them.

Continue the scalpings.

Personally I will jump and dance with joy if Hannity is ousted. He is the biggest liar and bully that they have now that Bildo is gone. As for Shine, good riddance to bad trash.

Will FOX make a turnaround and become respectable? Not even in a New York minute. They know who their audience is and who fills their breadbasket. They’ll just re-arrange the heads but the underlying monstrosity of lies, deceit and treason will remain.
