There were so many gems in Ed Schultz’ opening to The Ed Show last night, it’s impossible to list them all. The best way to describe it is, Hannity gets exactly what he deserves.
A few excerpts:
- Hannity’s war against the Bureau of Land Management is “not journalism in any sense of the words, it is shameful coverage of a lawbreaking rancher named Cliven Bundy and it has literally put the Bureau of Land Management in the crosshairs of sniper rifles.”
- “Let’s get this all straight here, folks. The welfare, freeloading rancher who refuses to pay his fees to the federal government is complaining about black people on government assistance.”
- After playing a clip of Bundy’s now-infamous remarks “wondering” if “The Negro” was better off under slavery because he had more freedom, Schultz asked, “What do you think? Think Bundy could host a show on Fox News?”

Disowning controversial rancher Cliven Bundy

So the law-breaking moocher is pissed off that others are receiving assistance? Gimmie a break! But as the male guest said, there’s no point in searching for any logic when it comes to FNC. Only pure, undiluted hatred.
My own time in the Deep South during the late ‘50s/early ’60s makes me suspect that Bundy is remembering a trip through those neighborhoods on a Sunday after lunch about sixty years ago. I’ll bet even he has a snooze on the rocking chair after Sunday lunch.
Another clue that Bundy’s living in the past is the fact that cotton-picking has been done by machines since the 1940s. The man’s totally delusional.

The rest of Fox News is pretending they never overtly supported Bundy to gang up on Hannity. I just saw Krauthammer try to pretend that he didn’t, I can’t stop laughing.

Conservative media created this firestorm by going after President Obama and AG Eric Holder, and fueling the fire of racism. Now the fire is out of control, and Tea Nuts are taking these same conservative mouthpieces down with them.

It will be the Tea Nuts that will destroy the GOP, not liberals.
