Dr. Ben Carson Hired As Fox News Contributor

Since he's not running for public office just yet, Dr. Ben Carson did what so many other Republican hopefuls have done: signed up as a contributor on the GOP Farm Team otherwise known as Fox News. Just in time to make a name for himself attacking Obamacare.

As Oliver Willis, at Media Matters wrote, "Fox News has hired Dr. Ben Carson as a contributor after months of hyping his views, touting him as a possible 2016 presidential candidate, repeatedly hosting him, and defending his bigoted statements."

Yes, Carson has been all that and America's potential savior ever since he won Fox's undying love by embarrassing President Obama at the National Prayer Breakfast. You have to wonder if Karl Rove or someone else coached him to do it.

In any event, Carson's on the Fox News payroll now. And all I have to say is, "Good luck with that, Dr. Carson."

Geez, FOX, what took you so long? FOX “news” just loves African-Americans who hate Obama. Good luck using your new position to catapult yourself into the GOP Presidential primary, Doc. And, please, try to come up with something more clever than “9-9-9.”

In what universe was Carson not shooting for this? Before his prayer breakfast stunt, he was just another politically biased loudmouth that’s good at his profession, but read his books and his essays about things other than Neurosurgery… And tell me the rest of Johns Hopkins aren’t just being nice.
