A con at work joined me for lunch and started gushing about The Donald and how he’s going to vote for him because Trump is oh-so refreshingly sincere. Guy knows I’m a lib but he’s in such a swoon over The Donald he asked me if I’m gong to vote for Trump too. Seriously. So I made the mistake of telling him what I think. Guy was pretty much stunned to red-faced silence and hasn’t joined me again for lunch in nearly a week. ;^)

The only sincerity I’ve seen in Trump is he’s sincerely thin-skinned and sincerely throws a tantrum when he’s publicly criticized. Obviously that’s why The Donald takes time off from publicly masturbating his ego to spew insults at anyone – this this case Megyn – who dare criticize his highness.

Other than that, flip-flopping Trump is caught up parroting the same nonsensical Rush Limbaugh (and, by extension, Fox News) populist vomit as much of the older white male Republican base – pure Archie Bunker-ism. You could transpose his head over Rush’s during a radio broadcast to get his talking points.

I get Americans both left and right are frustrated their pure vision of America isn’t being fulfilled. Which explains a campaign season dominated with partisan gushing over various populist candidates. That said, I’m still shocked by how many people – many smart people – are in a full swoon over complete shysters and/or crackpots like The Donald. Because populism typically is fueled by demonization, fear-mongering, and demagoguery to whip us ordinary folks up into a frenzy.

Mad as a hatter. I do like the one about Rove, though. That one is probably true.

Trump is proving he doesn’t have the temper or skin for high office. Fox News is proving they’ll be his bitch if he somehow wins. Any questions?

Trumpster is bullying Nixon Trainee Ailes who is too weak to stand up to Trumpster. The Murdoch boys should terminate Ailes’ and pay him off. Hire someone who is has guts to stand up to people like Trumpster.

The Fox “News” third rate suits wet themselves every time Trumpster attacks them. They are too frighten of Trumpster.

Trumpster has proven to the Trumpettes that you are a very weak, pathetic “leader” at this useless network. You are too afraid to man-up to Trumpster. Putin has more guts than you.

I’ve been checking Trump’s feed ever since I saw the discussion on The Kelly File. I had a feeling when he tweeted about Rove (earlier), that Kelly would be next.
