On today’s Your World, Neil Cavuto denigrated and trivialized President Obama’s budget proposal before he even began to discuss it with Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN).

Cavuto introduced the segment by saying, “It is ironic right now that all of this is going down on Fat Tuesday.” We know it was not an off-the-cuff quip because a banner on the lower third of the screen was ready just as he spoke. It read,  “PRES UNVEILS $3.9T BUDGET AS NEW ORLEANS CELEBRATES ‘FAT TUESDAY’

What does revealing a budget have to do with Fat Tuesday? What a ridiculous comparison.
