Democrats need to realize they are playing right into Trump’s hands with Sanders or Biden. Not that they are bad, but it would be old white guy vs. old white guy, and Trump wins the angry white guy voters and many female and minority voters might not even care. Fix that? Nominate Kamala Harris. She’s new, fresh face, more likeable than Hillary with no baggage. She might not be the best candidate, but she’s their best bet to beat Trump.

Bill’s commentaries are usually on point, but he’s been off the last few months. First, welcoming Marshawn Lynch as some sort of hero when Lynch was fined and ejected multiple times in the NFL for crude gestures and yelling at officials, and acting like a total jerk to the media. Bill had no clue what Lynch believes in, as he found out when he told Bill he doesn’t vote. On this, Bill is wrong again. He said years ago about Sarah Palin fans “you have to write them off, you cannot reach them.” So why has his opinion changed now?

The only thing Trump got somewhat right on the campaign trail was his claim the jobless rate was bogus. He was right, to some extent. Even when Obama’s team was pushing the 5.0, 4.8 rate, it doesn’t mean their are good jobs out there. There aren’t. Now all Trump talks about are jobless numbers. $9 and $10 per hour jobs are not a living wage. He said last week “now Americans can choose any job they want.” Really? So all his supporters can now walk into any corporate office and say “I’ll that that $75,000-a-year job. When do I start.”
