Andrea Tantaros Our Outrageous Loser Last Week

It's not too surprising that Andrea Tantaros "won" our Outrageous Quote of the Week poll last week with her disgusting request that her radio show listeners "do me a favor" and punch an Obama supporter "in the face." Her statement is bad enough but to my knowledge, she has not apologized. Even worse, Fox News does not seem to mind. This, by the way, is Tantaros' second win, out of three polls so far. Her last "win" was for suggesting Malia Obama should go on birth control. So if being hateful and inciting violence is your idea of making a name for yourself, Andrea, congratulations on your win. But if you have any decency, you couldn't be a bigger loser.

Tantaros won with 146 out 295 total votes. Our runner up was Monica Crowley, for accusing Obama of "attacking" "every major right" in the Bill of Rights, with 58 votes. Full results can be see here.

Obviously both the FCC and law enforcement are scared to death of Fox News or hopelessly corrupt. There is no way that woman should still be on the air. None.

Something tells me that the smart money will almost always be on Tantaros. She’s become sort of a Megyn Kelly 2.0- She strays further when her objections to the Fox News party line are in the script, then makes it a contest for who can take it the furthest when they’re not.

What makes her the 2.0 is that Kelly has enough self-preservation to set up the doublespeak. Tantaros flat doesn’t care. She’s so desperate for her next 15 minutes of infamy, that she doesn’t care that this is all adding up.
