Fox Viewers Respond To Cavuto's Shouting Match With Bachmann

Posted by Ellen · June 27, 2014 5:30 PM · 4 reactions

Neil Cavuto got an earful about his on-air smackdown of Rep. Michele Bachmann. Most disapproved. But as long-time Cavuto-watchers, we know that Cavuto is right when he says he treats other guests the same way. He just didn't happen to mention that he never treats Republican guests this way.

Megyn Kelly ‘Just Suggests’ Congress Stop Paying Attorney General Eric Holder

Posted by Ellen · June 27, 2014 4:19 PM · 5 reactions

Kelly_Holder_Pay.png

Megyn Kelly teamed up with her old Eric Holder-smearing pal, J. Christian Adams, to “discuss” Sen. Ted Cruz’ call to impeach Attorney General Eric Holder. Kelly didn’t say a word about Adams’ discredited racial accusations against Holder – which Kelly once spent weeks hyping. But this time, she noted that impeachment was unlikely to happen and “merely” suggested as an alternative that Congress cut off Holder’s pay

Bill Hemmer Pimps Hobby Lobby's Anti-Birth Control Mandate Talking Points

Posted by Priscilla · June 27, 2014 3:17 PM · 2 reactions

Bill_Hemmer.JPG

As the mouthpiece for right wing Christians and the anti-choice movement, Fox News provides full support for Hobby Lobby's objection to the ACA's birth control mandate. In March of this year, the curvy couch anti-choice Christians gave Ken "Blue Dress" Starr an entire segment during which he extolled the Christian values of Hobby Lobby owners who are being forced to provide abortion inducing pills and devices (Big Lie) in violation of their - wait for it - religious freedom. The Five's anti-choice Christians not only cited religious freedom, in their defense of Hobby Lobby, but asserted that any Hobby Lobby employee who needs "abortion pills" (Big Lie) is just a big slut who shouldn't be "subsidized." And in the "fair & balanced" Fox "news" dept, Bill Hemmer provided an unrebutted platform for right wing lawyer Jay Sekulow to spread more misinformation about the case. This morning, he hosted yet another infomerical for Hobby Lobby!

Colbert Mocks Ablow's World Cup Soccer Paranoia

Posted by Ellen · June 27, 2014 1:38 PM · 6 reactions

Last night Stephen Colbert mocked the wacky paranoia of Fox News psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow. "If you want experts on wrongness, you want Fox Business," he said. That's right. Ablow didn't just spew his soccer paranoia on the Fox News Channel. Fox Business Network thought a psychiatrist discussig World Cup enthusiasm as a conspiracy to detract from Obama's failures was exactly the kind of financial news their viewers could use.

Fox's Kilmeade: It's 'Almost Treason' For Obama To Focus On Climate Change

Posted by Ellen · June 27, 2014 9:00 AM · 5 reactions

On Fox News Radio's Kilmeade & Friends yesterday, Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocy tsk tsked over President Obama's focus on climate change. According to these two experts - and climate skeptics - it's not a crisis, we're already doing enough, Americans won't like Obama's solutions and it's really other countries' responsibility. They don't have a problem if Obama wants to go "Al Gore-ish," so long as it's after he's out of office. Otherwise, it's "almost treason."

Ann Coulter Calls Hillary Clinton Rape Defense ‘Bigger Than Benghazi’

Posted by Ellen · June 26, 2014 11:56 PM · 5 reactions

coulter_hashtag.png

Ann Coulter once again proved how much she hates America. Despite her own record as a two-time voter fraud suspect, Coulter suggested the real criminal is Hillary Clinton for having vigorously represented a rapist when she served as his court-appointed attorney. As our legal system directs. Then Coulter announced that the exonerated Central Park Five are unquestionably guilty and “savage rapists.”

Fox’s Dr. Ablow Suspects World Cup Soccer Some Kind Of Conspiracy Designed To Distract From Obama’s Troubles

Posted by Brian and Ellen · June 26, 2014 9:52 PM · 8 reactions

Fox psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow’s conspiracy theory that the World Cup Soccer excitement is little more than a sick or sinister distraction from serious issues (read: Obama’s troubles) was too crazy for his fellow co-hosts on Outnumbered today.

Fox’s Kimberly Guilfoyle Just Adores Dick Cheney’s ‘Self-Sacrificing’ Comments About Iraq

Posted by Ellen · June 26, 2014 3:39 PM · 6 reactions

Much of the rest of the world thinks Dick Cheney has a helluva nerve pointing fingers about Iraq, but not Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle. Where some see his attacks on Obama’s handling of Iraq as self-serving and hypocritical, Guilfoyle sees them as an expression of his “sense of obligation and a responsibility to this country, I believe, to his dying day. And that is to be admired.” She was so passionate on the subject that she got into quite the shouting match with her The Five co-hosts.

Got Irony? Bill O'Reilly Thinks The Mainstream Media Is 'Subverting Democracy!'

Posted by Priscilla · June 26, 2014 1:20 PM · 5 reactions

It's bad enough that the mainstream media isn't fair & balanced, like Fox News. But did ya know liberal media partisanship (never seen on Fox News) is "subverting democracy?!" At least that's what Bill O'Reilly says and we know that, as a paragon of fair & balanced journalism, he would never engage in partisanship, ya think? Last night he pontificated about how the mainstream media is biased and dangerous because it provides bogus information which gives people "wrong impressions." When words fail, all you can do is LOL!

Jason Mattera’s Hillary Clinton Ambush Too Sleazy For O’Reilly And MacCallum

Posted by Ellen · June 26, 2014 9:00 AM · 3 reactions

In case you missed it, the sleaziness that is Jason Mattera recently ambushed Hillary Clinton, asked her to inscribe her book to Ambassador Christopher Stevens (who was killed in Benghazi) and asked, “What difference does it make?” during the encounter. Thank goodness Bill O’Reilly not only called out Mattera for the tasteless stunt, he praised Clinton’s handling of it. Even Martha MacCallum, normally a mouthpiece for Republicans, agreed.
