Fox's Kilmeade: It's 'Almost Treason' For Obama To Focus On Climate Change

Posted by Ellen -7841.60pc on June 27, 2014 · Flag

On Fox News Radio's Kilmeade & Friends yesterday, Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocy tsk tsked over President Obama's focus on climate change. According to these two experts - and climate skeptics - it's not a crisis, we're already doing enough, Americans won't like Obama's solutions and it's really other countries' responsibility. They don't have a problem if Obama wants to go "Al Gore-ish," so long as it's after he's out of office. Otherwise, it's "almost treason."

KILMEADE: I would say, if you really are Al Gore-ish and you want to make that your passion? Wait ‘til you get out of office! Because you have crisises (sic) … to attend to. …It is almost treason for him to be focusing like this.  You could not have more challenges than he has.

On Fox News, there is almost never a respectful debate. Especially not when President Obama is involved.

@ Joseph West: “I really wish someone would explain to these “disposable feminine hygiene products that one might use on a summer’s eve, and the bag they came in” exactly what constitutes treason and how they so glibly misuse the word.”

In order to do that properly, Joe, one would first have to explain to them US Constitution — something else they have trouble understanding . . .

I really wish someone would explain to these “disposable feminine hygiene products that one might use on a summer’s eve, and the bag they came in”* exactly what constitutes treason and how they so glibly misuse the word. (And how it might better be applied to the Republicons in both houses of Congress.)

Remember back when it was treason to criticize a President during time of war? How things have changed since that Black guy moved into our White House.

I don't know why Obama didn't consult Kilmeade when setting his legislative and administrative priorities.
