Fox’s Jesse Watters, took a deceptively edited clip from President Obama’s BET interview in order to accuse him of exacerbating racial tensions.  This, from the guy who manages Fox Nation, the website whose readers openly talked about lynching Ferguson protesters. 

Fox’s Brian Kilmeade seized on a minor error Jon Stewart made last week in order to deceptively spin his recent commentary about Ferguson and police shootings. As Kilmeade distorted Stewart's commentary to suggest that Stewart had vilified the police, Kilmeade neatly ignored that the real villains in Stewart’s commentary were the race baiters at Fox News.

As the media conduit for the "war on Christmas," you'd think that the blasphemous word "holiday" would be expressly forbidden on anything Fox related. So I was chagrined and appalled to see that somebody, in the production department for the Fox video vault, might not have gotten the memo?! And to make matters worse, it is appended to a Fox & Friends video and we know that if Bill O'Reilly is the commander-in-chief of Fox's war on Christmas, Fox & Friends is the Praetorian Guard! (But the correct term was on the second line so I guess it's OK?)

With the country roiling over Eric Garner and Ferguson, Fox News looked to hate monger and race baiter Rush Limbaugh for analysis on Fox News Sunday today. Limbaugh repeatedly dodged personal responsibility for his own divisiveness as he voiced concern about other people “tearing the country apart.” Host Chris Wallace offered no challenge. 

The hypocrisy of Fox News is nowhere more evident in their double standard regarding religious free speech. While there is much whining about how Christian free speech is being attacked, Fox has no qualms about atheists who use their First Amendment rights to put up signs expressing their beliefs. Last year, Fox was aglow with holiday hatred directed towards the atheists who put up a sign in Times Square. This year, Fox is putting Christ back into Christmas, as well as reinforcing its atheists-are-scum message, by attacking atheists who put up billboards in support of "closet atheists" who feel pressured to attend religious services at Christmas. But in a brilliant propaganda tour de force, Fox & Friends is claiming that the signs are attacking Jesus and, of course, Christianity itself! That's not true  - but then this is Fox & Friends! 

Fox host Jeanine Pirro seized on the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner as her latest excuse for an unhinged rant against President Obama. This time, she accused Obama of only caring about African Americans and suggested that he has such a racial chip on his shoulder that he supported the looting in Ferguson. WARNING: Not for the faint of heart.

Mike Huckabee didn’t just suggest that the killing of Eric Garner by the police was no biggie, he completely ignored, or else never got in the first place, why Americans became so enraged that they took to the streets across the country Huckabee topped it off with a round of race baiting against our African American president by painting him a welfare king. It was all part of what looked a lot more like a campaign stump speech than news.

Yesterday, Fox’s Andrea Tantaros took the right-wing talking point that cigarette taxes are to blame for Eric Garner’s death and made it a twofer by using it to smear New York City’s Democratic mayor, Bill de Blasio. While she was at it, Tantaros took a swipe at progressives, too.

As part of its "fair & balanced" news coverage, Fox rovides warm and supportive rehab for right wingers who say stupid stuff such as Ann Coulter's "joke" about killing John McCain's daughter Mitt Romney's "binders full of women" comment. So it's not surprising that Fox, as the defender of white America, would be providing the same service for white police officers whose actions are, uh, highly questionable. Thus, we had Elisabeth Hasselbeck providing a sympathetic view of former officer Darren Wilson. And now that the NY City police are under scrutiny for the death of Eric Garner, Fox is providing some affirmation from disgraced former police commissioner, Bernard Kerik who made his second Fox appearance, on today's America's Newsroom, where he and alleged straight news host Martha MacCallum spun the faux Fox narrative that Eric Garner wouldn't have died if he hadn't "resisted arrest." 

In a discussion about the death of Eric Garner with former police commissioner Bernard Kerik, Megyn Kelly told the audience that Garner is a “convicted felon.” But she failed to mention that Kerik is, too. Instead, she referred to him as a decorated officer.
