As the flagship Fox show for persecuted Christians, Fox & Friends is constantly regurgitating a steady flow of dreck about how America's Christians are being assailed by the slings and arrows of outrageous anti-Christian persecution. But it's not just America's persecuted Christians that our curvy couch cretins are concerned about. That they are taking their crusade transnational was demonstrated by this morning's discussion of persecuted Canadian Christian law school grads who aren't being admitted to the Canadian bar because their law school has been denied accreditation. Turns out that Fox & Friends isn't telling the whole truth but hey, if you need a propaganda message about how Canada's Jesus hating ways ARE JUST LIKE OBAMACARE, this fits the bill nicely. First came the death panels, now it's law schools. Blame Canada?!

Fox’s fire-breathing Obama hater, retired Lt. Colonel Ralph Peters, joined America’s Newsroom today where he accused President Obama of deliberately trying not to kill terrorists in the American-led airstrikes in Syria. Not even host Bill Hemmer seemed to buy it.

Forget supporting our president in a time of war – you know, the way we were supposed to when George W. Bush was president. Fox is not only happily maligning Obama as much as ever, the “We like America” network has fixed on the most trivial, most unimportant and hypocritical of excuses: Obama saluted the troops while holding a coffee cup.

In case you’re not up on the case of UVA student Hannah Graham, the latest missing blonde story in the news, an arrest warrant was issued for an African American man named Jesse Matthew today. There was no indication Matthew’s grandmother had anything to do with the crime. Yet a Fox News reporter and contributor ambushed her at home and demanded to know if she had talked to Matthew.

Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer diagnosed President Obama as a narcissist recently. And oh, I'll bet he wishes Stephen Colbert hadn't been listening.

In any discussion of religion, who better to provide Fox News with incisive commentary than Kevin Sorbo a washed-up actor whose credits include "Hercules," "Andromeda," Kull the Conqueror," and this year's boffo Christian hit, "God's Not Dead." And lest you think that Sorbo's cosmological grasp is wanting, he has earned his Fox Christian creds by denouncing atheists and, in keeping with millennia of anti-Semitic Christian tradition, has provided his theological opinion that Jews are Christ killers. And while he doesn't share uber-Catholic watchdog Bill Donohue's view that Hollywood Jews love anal sex, he ascribes the lack of Christian movies to, uh, the Jews who "run" Hollywood! Today, as #oneluckyguy, he shared his deeply Christian views with his fellow Fox Christians and for that we are deeply thankful. 

Yesterday, Fox’s Your World discussed the People’s Climate March with a “ fair and balanced” lineup of two climate deniers and one march supporter. Host Neil Cavuto made it three-on-one.

Fox News' close connection to the most conservative elements in the Catholic Church is underscored by its stable of Catholic priests, such as Fr. Jonathan Morris, Fr. Gerald Murray, and Fr. Frank Pavone who reliably parrot rightwing (and Catholic) talking points.  But the frequent presence, on Fox Business and Neil Cavuto's show, of the Ayn Rand defending, anti-union, anti-safety net Fr. Robert Sirico, shows that Fox is also very close to extreme free market advocates who are very close to the Koch brothers. Earlier this month, Cavuto hosted Sirico, along with another guest, to peddle a right wing message which, as Newshounds Brian reported, seems to be a very big Fox deal; i.e. how American multiculturalism and secularism is contributing to the growth of ISIS. Funny, there was a time, in America, when those in power thought that Catholic immigrants were a problem

Fox News contributor Pete Hegseth visited The Kelly File last night minutes before it was revealed that U.S. airstrikes against ISIS in Syria had commenced. Nevertheless, the whole operation was a failure before it even began, Hegseth would have you think. Host Megyn Kelly ate up every word.

Tonight, as the news broke that the United States had begun airstrikes in Syria, along with a coalition of five Sunni Arab countries, Megyn Kelly did her best to malign President Obama even as her Republican guest, Rep. Peter King, told her that it’s important for us to “come together” and “support the president” now.
