Fox News can’t stop complaining about the CDC response to Ebola but that doesn’t mean they want the agency to have any more money. Nor does the “we like America” network seem interested in doing anything except tearing down the CDC further. Even if that means lying about its funding.

I often joke about how Fox & Friends is America's only "news" network show that also serves as an old time morning bible show. That they are, indeed, actively involved in Christian proselytizing was demonstrated on this morning's show which also reinforced the Christian right/Fox victimized Christian meme. The discussion centered on evil atheists who complained about a statue, on the grounds of a public high school, that featured Christian bible quotes. Earlier this month, Elisabeth Hasselbeck's one sided validation for these persecuted Christians included an interview with a Christian football player who was "fighting" to keep the verses. The evil atheists, however, got their way and the verses will be removed. So this morning, Fox & Friends updated us on this atheist outrage and, for added spiritual pleasure, provided the aforementioned high school football player with a pulpit to again share his faith and, of course, the gospel according to the curvy couch! 

Fox Business’ Tracy Byrnes repeatedly insulted Walmart workers demanding $15 an hour in wages. According to Byrnes, Walmart employees are lucky to have a job and if it’s not a living wage – well, they’re paid enough.

Bill O'Reilly clashed with Jon Stewart last night over white privilege. I thought the debate was pretty much a snoozer. But there were some fun zingers between the two.

When the Supreme Court ruled that good Christians employers, like Hobby Lobby, can deny slut pill coverage to their workers, Mike Huckabee said that "it was a good day for freedom." But last week, when the Supreme Court let stand lower courts' legalization of same sex marriage in five states, Mike Huckabee was clearly not happy. Immediately after the decision, Huckabee urged the affected states to just disobey the law - a position that he would be pretty pissed about if states, in violation of gun laws, decided to confiscate all guns. I'm sure he would be livid if the hated Obama administration continued to fine Hobby Lobby for not providing birth control coverage. On his Saturday night show, he continued his hissy fit with a full frontal attack on the same court that, earlier this year, he praised.

Fox News psychiatrist Keith Ablow has outdone himself with his crazy talk. This time he purported to psychoanalyze President Obama’s Ebola stance and our country’s “Stockholm Syndrome” that led us to elect a president “who has names very similar to two of our archenemies.”

I promise you that nobody who sees Stephen Colbert's brilliantly scathing takedown will ever view Sean Hannity's "Question of the Day" segment in quite the same way as before.
