No Democrats On Fox News Sunday - Again
Yesterday's Fox News Sunday didn't just have no Democratic interviewees, there wasn't a single Democrat or liberal columnist on the panel, either.
Read moreWhen Will Fox News Break Supreme Court Decision On Race Based Admissions?
Whenever there is a news story which involves victimized conservatives or victorious conservatives, the Fox News website and Fox News TV classify it, with a big, bold banner, as "breaking news." During the Gosnell trial, every burp and fart seemed to have been designated as "breaking news." But when it comes to real news that isn't a conservative victory, it appears that Fox doesn't think it merits immediate "breaking" attention. At least a half hour ago, the Supreme Court threw a Texas affirmative action case back to the lower court for further review. The news is a top item on the CNN and MSNBC websites. But as this is written, the banner headline on Fox is about the Zimmerman trial. And it's nowhere on their home page. Never mind "fair & balanced," how bout timely? Hmmm....

Read moreFr. Jonathan Morris Pimps Priestly Propaganda & Lie: 'Religious Freedom Crushing' HHS Mandate Covers Abortion Drugs
Fox News occasionally features a few non-Catholic clergy; but their one true clergyperson, who gets the sweetest face time, is the sweet faced Catholic priest, Fr. Jonathan Morris. Morris is always willing to preach the GOP gospel to his Fox flock which, thanks to his Facebook cult who see him as divinely inspired, is growing (and for that Roger Ailes gives thanks and praise). He has been a key part of the "fair & balanced" (?) Fox support for the Catholic Church's opposition to the HHS mandate which requires all employers to provide birth control coverage, in their health care plans, except for church employees and parochial schools. The Catholic bishops are still whining that this is a "violation of religious freedom." As such, the anti-Obama Fox News provides Morris a pulpit from which to preach this message and in so doing, Morris actually said that Catholic priests should be willing to die for the cause. Last Sunday, a still alive Morris continued the whine and, once again, promoted the Fox News advanced "pro-life" lie about how the mandate covers abortion drugs. Bless you father, for you have sinned?

Read moreBill O’Reilly Attacked By Right Wing After He Announces Support For Immigration Reform
On Thursday, Bill O’Reilly announced his support for immigration reform – and, as Alan Colmes put it, conservative heads exploded. Colmes noted, "Hard to tell what’s worse to these people, liberals like me with whom they always disagree, or someone they generally admire who thinks for himself and doesn’t always tow the party line."
Read moreFox News: Let Student Loan Rates Double!
Yesterday’s Forbes on Fox hyped the doubling of student loan rates from 3.4% to 6.8% on July 1. Forbes publisher Rich Karlgaard wasn’t just all for the doubling, he thought that even that amount would be “way too low.”

Read moreSarah Palin Now A Business Pundit On Fox News
It's not as if Fox News' Saturday business shows are really about business but the facade may have been permanently shattered by the arrival of Sarah Palin on this morning's Cashin' In. Today's "insights" included her response to whether or not we can trust the IRS and/or the federal government. "Is a bear Catholic? Does the Pope live in the woods?" she answered.
Read moreSean Hannity Waterboard Watch - Four Years, Two Months Since Promising To Undergo Waterboarding For Charity
It has now been four years and two months since Sean Hannity offered to be waterboarded (or "dunked" as he sometimes calls it) to prove that it is not torture. Yet he has not fulfilled his promise. After such a long time, I do not expect him to. But I feel this is an important issue to keep alive - not to ridicule Hannity (although it's tempting) - but to point out that his failure to follow through on his promise is an implicit acknowledgment that it is, indeed torture.
