Fox Attacks Alan Grayson For Comparing The Tea Party To The Ku Klux Klan
In case you missed it, Congressman Alan Grayson recently said in an interview with Rev. Al Sharpton, “At this point, the tea party is no more popular than the Klan.” Grayson followed that up with a fundraising email yesterday repeating his quote and including the above graphic of a burning cross. In response, Fox News pundits are in an uproar of scripted outrage – in solidarity with the Republicans. But Megyn Kelly’s choice of hate monger Allen West as her attack dog against Grayson undercut and discredited any legitimacy to the effort. In fact, as West used the occasion to make racial attacks on African American leaders, he more proved Grayson’s point than refuted it.

"Independent" media critic, Howard Kurtz' gloss over of the Hannity show's fake Obamacare victims was so ridiculous it was almost funny. If it weren't so serious.
Read moreBill O'Reilly, Jesse Watters Attack 'Anti-Christmas' Maine Town Council
It's only October, but for Bill O'Reilly it's never too early to start celebrating his Christmas tradition known as "the war on Christmas." And nothing says Christmas cheer more than Bill's annual attack on those who, in Bill's twisted mind, disrespect the holiday. Assisting Bill in spreading Christmas peace and love is Bill's stalker/producer and general shit stirrer Jesse Watters whose visit to the Christmas hating residents of Great Barrington MA, according to Watters, caused them to realize the error of their ways and as such was a clear victory in the Christmas war - at least for a while because last year O'Reilly was still attacking them! This year, Watters was sent to Maine where he confronted local officials about their decision to remove lights from a permanent Christmas tree veterans memorial. Watters' (not a veteran) scorching expose revealed how these "Christmas haters" insulted veterans and Christmas. So in the spirit of the season, perhaps the evil town council members will be getting some nice Christian, Christmas death threats as a result of O'Reilly's Christmas attack. God bless us everyone?!
Read moreVan Susteren And Loesch Can't Think Of Any Tea Party Insults About Liberals
Dana Loesch visited On The Record last night for a liberal bashing session given the following "fair and balanced" title on FoxNews.com: Liberals too focused on Tea Party, not country's problems? Vitriol against Tea Party continues after shutdown as Dem congressman calls Tea Party Republicans 'domestic enemies.' But the two developed an odd case of Tea Party amnesia as they claimed not to recall a single instance of a Tea Party Republican using such rhetoric against Democrats.
Read moreFox News’ Steven Crowder Proved A Liar Again
Conservative “comedian” and Fox News contributor Steven Crowder complained of difficulties he's having with his Fox News contract. But Crowder seemed to be bringing the same (lack of) integrity we saw in his doctored “union fight” video, i.e. none. I suspect that after this, Fox will be happy to part ways with him. UPDATED: Crowder is out at Fox.
Read moreBill O’Reilly Reads President Obama’s Mind And Psychoanalyzes His Need ‘To Destroy The Hard Right’
Bill O’Reilly offered one of the most bizarre Talking Points commentaries ever last night. In it, he purported to look inside President Obama’s mind and after reporting on what was found, concluded that the president is “on a mission to destroy the hard right. …No question.” Oh yeah, and O’Reilly gratuitously likened the situation to Dallas, Texas right before President Kennedy was assassinated. Nice.

The Republican-orchestrated government shutdown just put their public approval ratings in the toilet. But Ann Coulter seemed to be on the Ted Cruz wavelength as she painted the stunt as a smashing success on Hannity tonight.
Read moreHoward Kurtz’ Phony Equivalence Just Happens To Spin Fox’s Mistaken Report Of Congressman Young’s Death
Fox News media critic Howard Kurtz properly recognized Fox’s big blooper of the week: the reported death of Congressman Bill Young – while he was still alive. “That’s a terrible mistake,” Kurtz noted on his Media Buzz show yesterday. And then he did his best to make you think it was not so terrible by suggesting it was just like a couple of erroneous tweets about Fox’s correction.
Read moreMegyn Kelly: Handmaiden For The GOP, Obamacare Edition
Megyn Kelly was a vision of sympathy for Republican outrage last week as she offered a friendly, uncritical platform for Republican Kris Kobach to suggest that because one navigator for the Affordable Care Act (i.e. "Obamacare") had once been arrested at a protest in front of his house, the whole process might be riddled with criminal and/or inappropriate activity. But what made this discussion especially notable was how it came just a few days after Kelly complained about the media seizing on two extremists, and therefore distorting, the larger picture at a veterans protest. But Kelly's contradictory stands on cherry picking had one thing in common: they each promoted a GOP-friendly meme.
Read moreBill O'Reilly's Fellow Tiller Persecutor, Phill Kline, Has License Suspended - O'Reilly Mentioned 23 Times
Sadly, nothing can bring back abortion provider, Dr. George Tiller who was assassinated by a "pro-life" fanatic after the good doctor was relentlessly persecuted by a fanatical Kansas attorney-general, Phill Kline. Aiding and abetting Kline was his "pro-life" media mouthpiece, Bill O'Reilly, who used his show to engage in an ongoing demonization of the good doctor. But Dr. Tiller has been vindicated by the recent decision of the Kansas Supreme Court to indefinitely suspend Kline's law license for 11 violations related to his bogus and agenda driven persecution investigation of Tiller's practice. The divinely inspired Bill O'Reilly was part of the investigation and in the official document was mentioned 23 times which is less than the number of times that O'Reilly attacked Tiller as a "baby killer."
