Hannity Politicizes Colorado School Shooting To Blame Liberals
Sean Hannity teamed up with Ann Coulter last night in order to blame liberals for the recent Centennial, Colorado school shooting and most other sensational murders in history. And then he pretended he didn’t. It was Fox News possibly at its most disgusting-est.
Read moreBill O’Reilly: Megyn Kelly Was Right, Santa Was White (But Not Jesus) So Get Over It, African Americans!
Bill O’Reilly waded into Megyn Kelly’s “Santa was white” and “Jesus was white” controversy tonight. He insisted that Santa was, in fact, white and that people of color should just disregard his color and “enjoy the moment.” Even after African American Juan Williams explained why it matters. But the good news? Both Williams and Mary Katharine Ham, each a Fox News contributor, publicly criticized Kelly’s remarks as unkind and hurtful.

As Fox News is the media outlet for Christians and Christian Nationalism (Jesus and Santa are white), it's not a surprise that it hosts a living Nativity outside Fox headquarters. (Fox also provides a dressing room) And as the media outlet for the Christian right, it's also not a surprise that, in its coverage of the annual tableau, Fox validates the agenda of a radical anti-choice/same sex marriage group which is encouraging people to get legal permission to set up their own living Nativities in public places where there are none. In order to promote their message, the Christian Defense Coalition has teamed up with another anti-choice group, Faith & Action, which provides the actors for the Nativity scene. Recently, the traveling Nativity show set up shop outside Fox where, once again, the curvy couch Christians validated this Christmas crusade led by Christians with some unsavory anti-choice history. But as Fox tells us, we really need to worry about that atheist agenda!

Christianity is still the majority religion in the US. But not content with majority status, there are some Christians who want to make America more Christian by proselytizing in the military and trying to get prayer and creationism into the public schools. They also want to roll back LGBT rights because equal protection is offensive to Jesus and his pals. When those concerned about church/state violations push back, these folks howl with indignation about how their constitutional rights are being violated. But when those who aren't down with Jesus publicly express their beliefs, it becomes a big f**king deal that is made into an even bigger deal on Fox & Friends, the home for those Christians who think that there is a vast atheist conspiracy against them. Part of that conspiracy seems to be a totally harmless atheist sign in Times Square. But for creationist museum head (Adam and Eve where white!) Ken Ham, this sign is part of an atheist take-over of the country. Got paranoia?!
Read moreMegyn Kelly’s ‘White Santa’ And ‘White Jesus’ Comments Just The Latest In A Long History Of Racial And Ethnic Resentment
Megyn Kelly turned defensive Friday night about the firestorm that erupted in the wake of her “assurances” that both Santa Claus and Jesus are white. But this is just one of many instances in which she exploited and promoted racial and ethnic resentment. I long ago gave Kelly the motto “I love to hate people of color.” Here's why.

I think we all know which outrageous quote got the most attention last week. But there were others that deserve to at least be considered. Plus, we all have a lot of fun with this poll. So here, in addition to Megyn Kelly and her white Christmas, are a few more to consider.

Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update included a visit from a “black as hell” Santa Claus. He said he prefers that people think he’s white because with all the presents he has to deliver, “I can’t afford to get pulled over every 10 minutes.”

Neil Cavuto lit into the fake controversy over President Obama’s selfie with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt and over his handshake with Raul Castro. Of course, Cavuto worked in a few shots at President Obama over ObamaCare. But still...

It’s time for our regular peek into the minds of Fox News viewers – or at least the ones who write to us and think they are writing to Fox News. I skipped last week because we did not have enough suitable entries. But the Fox watchers are back at their keyboards and clueless as ever.
Read moreEric Bolling Touts His Catholicism While Attacking 'Mean' Atheists Who Are 'Attacking' Christmas
Among many conservative Catholics in Roger Ailes' stable, Bill O'Reilly and Eric Bolling, neither of whom have a problem with hate mongering, race baiting, and other toxic spew, seem to be the most willing to publicly proclaim their devout Catholicism. O'Reilly and Bolling do seem joined at the hip. Both are products of a Catholic education and both share an intense loathing of atheists. When an atheist "denigrated the name of Jesus," during a show which Bolling hosted, Bolling stopped the interview. Bolling, no fan of Muslims, once opined that atheists have no place at a baseball park. So it was no surprise that, when he hosted Friday's Factor, Bolling would condemn, as did Bill, the "mean" atheist billboard in Time Square. Bolling also suggested that the atheists behind the sign are unpatriotic because America was founded on Jesus. And in case you doubt his Christian creds, Bolling, who has hurled racist insults against the President, reminded us once again, as O'Reilly frequently does, of his religiosity. Not so great minds run in the same narrow channel?
