During 2016, Fox News, not noted for its truthiness, treated us to Bill O'Reilly abetting a witch hunt against a liberal professor, legitimization of Donald Trump's crazy Twitter talk, and bogus persecution of Christians - just to name a few magic moments. So you have to laugh at Ainsley Earhardt's exposé of "the media's most mortifying moments of 2016."

Judging from the all the whining at Fox, Republicans must be mighty worried about President Obama’s plan to stay active in politics during the Trump/Pence administration. So the all-conservative panel on Outnumbered did a little pre-smearing of President Obama’s post-presidency treatment of Donald Trump. Because, you know, Trump has been so respectful to Obama.

Donald Trump may not know that Second Corinthians is not called Two Corinthians and I don’t know where Christianity endorses sexual assault, mocking the disabled or racism but on Fox News, Trump is almost as Christian as Jesus, himself.

NewsHounds' Richard carefully reviewd the Fox News Twitter feed yesterday and - Surprise! Surprise! - our current White House's Christmas greetings were ignored.

Friday evening, Teen Vogue writer Lauren Duca took on Tucker Carlson over Ivanka Trump. It seemed like Carlson was looking for a liberal to blame for Trump's confrontation with an airline passenger. Unfortunately, he chose the wrong person in Duca.

It's been a tough year and I'm going to take a break for the holidays. Priscilla, Richard and Brian may have a post or two and I may even sneak one in as well. But we will be doing a lot of recharging as we gear up for the Trumpocalypse.

Donald Trump has received a post-election bounce in approval ratings - but they went from a dismal 34% to a pretty bad 42%. But pollster Frank Luntz, whom we have caught dissembling in the past, told Fox News viewers that “a majority of Americans have a favorable impression of him.”

When Bill O'Reilly issues his trademark denunciations, those on the receiving end are harassed and sometimes get death threats. For years, O'Reilly attacked abortion provider Dr. George Tiller and we know what happened. Hopefully, O'Reilly's newest target, a California college professor, won't meet with the same fate!
