Rupert Murdoch Says Fox News ‘Absolutely Saved’ The Republican Party
Rupert Murdoch, Chief of News Corporation which is the parent company of Fox News, was interviewed by Fortune Magazine. He was asked about Fox News’ role in American politics. Murdoch’s answers were shocking.
Read moreIs Fox News Trying To Start A Range War?
Fox News has been sympathetically hyping the case of a Nevada rancher who is threatening a range war with the U.S. government. Last night, Sean Hannity asked if this might be "another Waco situation." He also mentioned that "Ruby Ridge has come up in some articles." Hannity sounded more hopeful than concerned. Today, more Fox News shows and Fox Nation have deliberately inflamed the situation.

"March madness" is over and we have a winner. No, I don't mean the awesome University of Connecticut Huskies (Men and Women) but the winner of the Fox & Friends brackets which started with 64 supposed constitutional violations by the Obama administration and ended up with just one winner. After two weeks of almost daily propaganda and lies (Obamacare covers abortion!) that reiterated the same tire GOP talking points, over and over, Fox America has voted and the winner is - drum roll please - the IRS vs. the Tea Party! Big surprise there...
Read moreDoes Sheryl Sandberg Know Megyn Kelly’s Real Record On Women’s Issues?
Last night, Megyn Kelly got together with Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg for a little female bonding among one percenters. And we all got to watch as Sandberg gushed over Kelly’s stance on behalf of working women in her highly-publicized (and almost certainly carefully calculated and pre-approved with the higher ups) on-air confrontation with Erick Erickson and Lou Dobbs defending working mothers. But in doing so, Sandberg demonstrated either ignorance of her pal’s full record on women’s issues or else a lack of concern over the hypocrisy.
Read moreBad News For Bill O'Reilly: Stephen Colbert To Replace David Letterman On Late Show
Just two days after Bill O'Reilly attacked Stephen Colbert as an "ideological fanatic" with a small audience who was also somehow to blame for the recent UConn riot, Colbert has been named as David Letterman's replacement on CBS' Late Show. I'm sure it doesn't help O'Reilly's mood that Colbert's comedy persona is a satire of none other than O'Reilly, himself.

Megyn Kelly continued her crusade on behalf of the anti-Islamic film, “Honor Diaries” tonight. This time, her vehicle was a pair of dueling interviews – one with an Honor Diaries critic, from CAIR, and the other was the anti-Islamic Honor Diaries contributor Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Guess which guest Kelly berated and which one she praised?
Read moreBill O’Reilly’s ‘Grievance Industry’ Hustle
Anyone who has watched The O’Reilly Factor lately has probably seen Bill O’Reilly rail against the “grievance industry.” It’s a term closely tied to “race hustlers” in his mind. As I’ve previously posted, it’s little more than cover for O’Reilly to launch his own grievances against minorities and others. Watch my video mashup from just one show that demonstrates this unmistakeably.
Read moreFox News’ Peters Slobbers Over ‘Sharp, Cool’ Putin
Fox News’ Lt. Col. Ralph Peters was so openly admiring of Russian President Vladimir Putin last night that you might wonder why Peters doesn’t just defect. It’s one thing to criticize President Obama’s foreign policy toward Russia and the Ukraine. But it’s another to keep suggesting that Putin is the leader you wish we had in the U.S.

You can bet that if an atheist group did a documentary which ascribed the Catholic Church's pedophilia scandal to Catholic theology, Fox News would be consumed with righteous outrage. Yet, when Muslims voiced their concerns about the agenda behind what they feel is an agenda driven movie, "Honor Diaries," which purports to show that domestic violence against Muslim women is intrinsic to Islam, Fox News launched a full scale attack against those critics. Most of the attacks were directed against the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which feels that the film isn't exactly fair and balanced. Last night, Megyn Kelly underscored why Fox has been described as an "echo chamber" for America's Islamophobic cottage industry. In continuing to defame the film's critics, including CAIR, she saved her most potent venom for a woman who has tangential connections to the White House. So not only did she get to attack Linda Sasour; but she was able to play guilt by association ("palling around with terrorist?") too. Good times!
Read moreHannity: I Would Waterboard Terrorism Suspects Myself
Sean Hannity may have weaseled out of undergoing waterboarding for himself but that doesn’t mean he’s not eager to waterboard others! No, Siree! Last night, he was so enthusiastic about the practice, he announced to guest Liz Cheney, “I would have done it myself.” Meanwhile, Cheney once again complained that the Senate Intelligence Committee’s investigation of torture practices is a distraction from Benghazi.
