After the horrible murders of two New York City police officers on Saturday, Fox’s Bo Dietl joined the “Let’s Ratchet Up Tensions” club on the Justice with Jeanine show that night. Instead of looking for ways to promote calm, Dietl wants more guns pulled on more members of the public.

To Rudy Giuliani, when blacks get killed by the NYPD, it’s their own collective fault and when NYPD officers are killed by one African American, it’s the black community’s fault, too.

I think its safe to say that if a Muslim group were denied tax incentives for a Mecca themed park because they only hired Muslims, Fox News would applaud the decision. But now that the same group behind the Kentucky creationist theme park has been denied government subsidies for a new Noah's Ark theme park, because of their Christians only emloyment policy, Fox News is very, very sad. 

In an effort to provide an "imprimatur" on right wing talking points, Fox News employs a Catholic priest, Fr. Jonathan Morris, who can be counted on to parrot popular right wing talking points. If the sweet little priest takes personal positions which are contrary to the teaching of Fox News, such as what he *tweeted about torture, you won't hear them on Fox. While most times the propagandizing is obvious, it can sometimes be subtle, such as this morning when Morris reflected on the killing of the NY City police. While he spoke about faith in a time of crisis, he criticized certain "religious leaders" who aren't playing by right wing rules. Was he speaking about Al Sharpton and other Civil Rights leaders whom he accused, during the George Zimmerman trial, of "riling up' people? I think the answer is plain as the Roman Collar around Morris' neck. 

Fox News wasted no time exploiting the terrible news that two New York City police officers had been shot to blame President Obama, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Al Sharpton for supposedly creating the climate that allowed such a crime to happen. This, from the network that encouraged rancher Cliven Bundy's armed standoff with law enforcers. And the network that relentlessly demonized an abortion doctor until he was assassinated.

Sadly, we were not surprised to see that the "patriots" in the Fox Nation and the FoxNews.com readership reacted to the news that two New York City police officers were ambushed and shot dead with racist and murderous thoughts.

Fox News seemed determined to wring as much fear out of the Sony hack attack as possible this morning. First, the host “just asked” if our entire economy might crash next. Regular guest John Layfield kicked it up a notch by acting ready to start World War III by having North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-Un killed. Unlike Sony's The Interview movie, however, Layfield was not joking. Unfortunately.

Stacey Dash was trotted out yesterday and all but told to reiterate her “Democrats are like slave owners” smear. Sure enough, she delivered her line.

Fox News Radio has put together a little extravaganza called “Todd Starnes All-American Christmas.”  But considering its cast of white, right-wing Christians, a better name would probably be “Todd Starnes’ America-The-Way-We-Wished-It-Was Christmas.”

While the Fox News "fair & balanced" slogan applies to the entire network, Fox claims that this applies only to actual news programming. Opinion shows, such as Fox & Friends are exempt and that's a good thing because this show is a right wing propaganda vehicle with a pathological aversion to the truth. And while "the truth," in some cases, is nebulous, the gang on the curvy couch makes no attempt to examine both sides, but, rather weigh in on the side that most fits their right wing narrative. Such was the case, this morning, when Steve Doocy provided national exposure for a Marquette Professor who is being investigated, by the school, for his blog comments about a graduate instructor who offended an anti-gay marriage conservative student. Once again, Steve Doocy provided the whine for yet another pity party and some tasty Fox lies, too.
