It looks like Fox News may have insulted France more than President Obama’s decision not to attend the unity rally last weekend.

Russell Brand hilariously skewered Sean Hannity, Britain’s Nigel Farage and the so-called “no go zones” in Europe. But as usual, Brand makes some seriously insightful points.

Fox guest Robert Jeffress, on today's Fox & Friends, mounted a full-scaled Islamophobic attack on Duke University for the "travesty" of initiating a once-a-week Muslim call to prayer.

Disgraced veteran Allen West played a Constitutional expert on Fox News TV yesterday as he all but accused President Obama of treason for releasing Guantanamo Bay detainees. Host Neil Cavuto did not challenge either West’s assertions or his credentials.

DISH Network subscribers have been without Fox News for almost a month now, thanks to halted negotiations between the satellite provider, and 21^st Century Fox. Now, the network has joined the fight - with its own version of reality. 

“Terror expert” Brigitte Gabriel used a slew of falsehoods, plus a dollop of pop psychology to blow the “secret Muslim” dog whistle on Fox News last night. Just like Steve Emerson’s claim that Birmingham, England is now “totally Muslim,” Gabriel again proved that Fox News cares more about incendiary soundbites than truth or credibility in its so-called experts.

As part of its mission from God (the Christian one that is) Fox News is dedicated to spreading fear and loathing of Islam and Muslims. But there is rich irony that in Fox's zeal to promote hatred of Islam, Fox doesn't have a problem enlisting the services of those who are part of the hate filled radical, homophobic, anti-Muslim Christian right. Such was the case on this morning's Fox & Friends during which Brian "all terrorists are Muslims" Kilmeade interviewed Martin Mawyer, the founder of the virulently anti-gay, anti-Muslim Christian Action Network, to spread more Fox Islamophobic fear, loathing, and lies.  

Apparently, Sean Hannity’s love for country depends a lot on whether or not he likes the democratic choices of its citizens. Since Hannity didn’t agree with the last two presidential elections, the “great American” has decided he’ll just invalidate them.

While Fox attacks Obama as somehow not American enough because he didn’t attend the unity rally in France, I thought this a good time to remind people how much Fox hated France – and considered them an enemy in the war on terror when it suited their politics to do so.
