Despite the best efforts of those who seek to maintain the male power structure, women have been, as the song goes, "doing it for themselves." But this progress created a serious backlash from those who seek to maintain the male patriarchal power structure, the demise of which was lamented by Bill O'Reilly. The backlash, documented by Susan Faludi in 1991, continues today with constant attempts to role back reproductive freedom and resistance to equal pay. And, in the alternate reality of the right wing, there is no war on women. Rather, it's nasty feminist bitches who are making life miserable for American men - a position promoted by Fox News hosts who validate those who say that it's the women who are intolerant. So who better to articulate this position than anti-feminist Suzanne Venker who, on Fox & Friends, once again attacked feminists and in so doing, defended those who think rape is just a feminist fabrication. Fox host Eric Bolling opened a discussion of the Supreme Court’s recent Harris v. Quinn ruling by saying, “The Supreme Court ruling home health care workers in Illinois can’t be forced to pay union fees if they’re not in a union. Jonathan, this could be good for all workers, yeah?”

When it comes to patriotism, nobody wears the red, white, and blue better than those on Fox & Friends. In the words of Lee Greenwood's paean to patriotism, the kids on the curvy couch are proud to be Americans - unlike some nasty liberals who, according to a new Pew Poll, do not meet the Fox standards of blind jingoism. So who better to discuss this egregious lapse in nationalistic devotion than Larry Gatlin, the washed up former country music star who debuted his anti-Obama protest song, "The Beatings Will Continue," on Mike Huckabee's show. He's no stranger to Fox & Friends where, in 2011, he spoke about his Christmas song which was about how Muslims were trying to hurt the baby Jesus. This week, he was back on Fox & Friends where he treated the audience to a bizarre rant about how - wait for it - Pres. Obama is to blame for the decrease in patriotism.

As America's foremost Christian network, Fox News wants you to know that Christian heaven is a very real place where very special people get to visit, on a one-day pass and then return so that they can share their experiences to very credulous Fox hosts including alleged straight news blonde Megyn Kelly. Celestial voyagers are quite popular on Fox & Friends which has featured a number of stories about the journey there and back again - including one which was made into a book and a movie. One of the day trippers is Pastor whose visit to a gushing Ainsely Earhardt in April of 2013 was followed by an encore Fox & Friends appearance in August. His book sales must have slowed down because he returned to Fox & Friends for the third time, this Tuesday, for more gushing from Elisabeth Hasselbeck over his "miraculous" trip.
