Fox’s Kelly Wright Inflames Nevada Ranch Tensions With Glenn Beck Conspiracy Theory
Fox’s Kelly Wright dredged up an old Glenn Beck and Roger Ailes conspiracy theory about President Obama in order to deliberately inflame the already-tense situation between law-breaking Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and the federal government trying to enforce the law – and the $1 million bill owed to American taxpayers - Bundy has flouted for over 20 years.

We've got another tough poll here. Last week was full of Fox News outrageousness about the Bundy ranch conflict, Vladimir Putin, the "war on Easter," Barack Obama "benefitting" from being black - along with outrageousness about pot, NASA and more! Which was THE most outrageous? The choice is up to you, dear readers. UPDATED
Read moreOn Fox & Friends: Tucker Carlson, Caleb Bonham Whine About Liberal Bias At College Commencements
Fox News loves to promote the false and defamatory meme that minority "race hustlers" play the victim card. Meanwhile, as Jon Stewart so wisely said, "conservative victimization is the true genius of what Fox News has accomplished." Saturday, Tucker Carlson, who was appropriately called a "dick" by Jon Stewart, once again demonstrated the wisdom of Stewart's characterization of Fox News. On Fox & Friends, Carlson and right wing "Christian politico with a sense of humor" joker Caleb Bonham whined about how nasty liberal college campuses don't invite enough Republicans to speak at graduation ceremonies. Awww, somebody call me a whambulance.
Read moreFr. Jonathan Morris and Fox Friends Forgive Atheists!?
The propaganda at Fox News is pretty slick in that it can be very overt or, when necessary, cleverly couched in a pretty party package in such as way that the audience doesn't even realize the not so subliminal message. Yesterday, during Fr. Jonathan Morris' weekly homily piece, we were treated to this slight of hand during a discussion of how, as Fox expresses it, atheists are waging "an unholy war" on Easter. During this past week, Fox has devoted a number of segments to attacking nasty atheists at the Freedom From Religion Foundation, a First Amendment advocacy group that rates high on Fox's "anathema" list. On yesterday's Fox & Friends, the pals began their Easter piece by reminding the viewers, once again, of the atheist transgressions. But by the end of the piece, all was sweetness and light because the Fox & Friends Christians, in using the Christian lessons of the Crucifixion and Resurrection, were willing to forgive the atheists so it's all good.
Read moreFox News’ Concern For Government Overreach In Bundy Ranch Case Not Seen For People Of Color And Occupiers
We’ve written a lot about Fox News’ latest cause celebre – the championing of lawbreaking Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and the demonization of federal officials trying to enforce the law – and the $1 million bill owed to American taxpayers - Bundy has flouted for over 20 years. But when discussing issues of government overreach involving people of color and occupiers, Fox has not just sided with the government but has usually demonized those with differing opinions.

A religious holiday is no excuse for Fox to pass up the chance to exploit a guest for partisan, divisive purposes - even if he is an archbishop!

Although there are many religious denominations in America, the America of "America's Newsroom," Fox News, is very restricted to - surprise, surprise - conservative denominations who vote GOP or could be convinced to do so. Fox's orientation seems to be weighted on the side of the Catholic Church as shown in the appearance of Catholic priests (Fr. Jonathan Morris, Fr. Gerald Murray) who preach the gospel of the GOP. You won't see, on Fox, liberal pro-choice, pro-gay clergy; but pastors from non-denominational groups do, occasionally, preach to Fox's evangelical choir. Franklin Graham is always welcome on Fox. Mega-church millionaire Joel Osteen was recently on Fox & Friends lamenting millennials' lack of religiosity. And within the last few days, another evangelical, Pastor Steve Berger, popped up on two Fox shows. While he seems quite benign, the reality is that he is anti-gay - to the point of being in a ministry for "ex-gays." Coincidence?

Read moreFox Host: Tony Soprano ‘Much Better’ Than NASA
On Forbes on Fox, the latest excuse for an assault on federal programs was the $3 million appropriation to NASA to learn how to lobby Congress. Host David Asman used that as a pretext to throw the baby out with the bathwater and abolish NASA. He “asked“ panelist Mike Ozanian, “What about just getting rid of NASA? Let the private sector do it?”
