Civil rights attorney Eric Guster, the other guest, there to argue the other side, was so ridiculously ineffective, I have to wonder how much he was really trying to relay what is wrong with Donald Trump’s choice of Sessions as attorney general.

Donald Trump’s campaign adviser unloaded a pail of horse manure on The Kelly File last night that host Megyn Kelly let slide all over her. First, Conway gave a disturbing vision of “fair media” and then she claimed, with a straight face, that Twitter tantrum-thrower Trump has a “thick skin.”

When Megyn Kelly accused unnamed TV hosts of rigging interviews with Donald Trump so as to look like they were asking tough questions, I thought of Bill O’Reilly. But Sean Hannity protested so much, I have to think she hit a nerve.

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro, was in an unhinged lather over the “disrespect” supposedly shown by the cast of Hamilton in its message to Vice President-elect Mike Pence a few nights ago. But Pirro was not only fine with Donald Trump’s hideous, bogus birtherism, she helped advance it on Fox News.

In yet another direct tie between Fox News and Donald Trump, host Eric Bolling is reportedly under consideration for a position in the Trump administration’s Commerce Department.

Fox News trotted out Alveda King, the nutty, conservative niece of Martin Luther King, to argue that Americans should embrace Jeff Sessions as Donald Trump’s attorney general, despite a history of racism, by comparing him to one of the most famous racists of all time, George Wallace.

Former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson, whose bombshell lawsuit for sexual harassment led to the downfall of CEO Roger Ailes, visited ABC’s 20/20 to discuss the subject in general. She was prohibited from the terms of her settlement from saying much about what happened at Fox. But after her multi-part interview ended, former Fox News booker Laurie Luhn provided chilling details of her life as, essentially, Ailes’ sex slave.

Fox News’ “business block” today began with a full-out cheering section for Donald Trump to cut corporate and personal taxes and, while he’s at it, one pundit demanded cuts to Social Security and Medicare.
