In case you missed it, Utah's Republican Rep. Paul Ray was so moved by the botched execution in Oklahoma that he has come up with what he thinks is a more humane solution: firing squads. Last night, Sean Hannity couldn't think of anything not to like.

Megyn Kelly left out some key details about David and Jason Benham’s right-wing extremism when they appeared as guests on The Kelly File tonight. It’s too bad because when she wasn’t busy painting the brothers as Christian martyrs for their “traditional” beliefs, some of her interview was actually pretty decent. She even managed to diplomatically present the case for gay marriage. But the devil is in the details, as the Benhams might say, and you have to ask why those details were not provided.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney got a big dose of Republican Rehab yesterday as Fox News Sunday turned him into a Serious Critic of President Obama’s foreign policy, prompted him to urge Hillary Clinton be held accountable for Benghazi and conveniently erased from his own record that huge blunder called the Iraq War. You know, the one nobody on Fox has held him accountable for. While they were at it, Wallace helped Cheney give a little extra cred to Rove’s attack on Hillary Clinton’s health.

As I reported, William Baer, a New Hampshire resident who was arrested after speaking out about a high school reading assignment at a school board meeting, appeared on Fox News. During his interviews with Megyn Kelly and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, he received warm validation for his protest against the school and the school board whose rules he broke during his outburst. While the school has reviewed its policy to ensure that parents will always be aware of their children's' reading assignments, Baer is not letting the matter drop and, as he told Fox, is assembling his legal team presumably for a lawsuit. He has become the darling of the Tea Party, nationally, and quite the celebrity for a right wing NH group. Given Baer's current right wing bona fides, I wondered if he had a history of partisanship. From what I discovered, it appears that William "Billy" Baer, if he is the now famous William Baer, is not just your average dad. One wonders if Fox was aware of his colorful, uh, history?

We've got a wide range of outrageousness for you to choose from this week: Predictably, Fox News talking heads made a big deal out of Michael Sam's kiss and were busy stirring up more animosity toward Muslims. But we also had some outrageous comments about race, the minimum wage and - oh, yes - Benghazi. A good selection awaits your consideration and vote, dear readers!

As the media mouthpiece for the homophobic radical right, Fox has been a conduit for misinformation and slurs directed against the transgender community. And now, Fox is attacking Chelsea Manning, formerly Pfc Bradley Manning who was convicted of espionage for giving classified information to Wiki Leaks. When Manning requested a name change, she was mocked on Fox & Friends and "The Five." Fox & Friends lied about Manning and used a slur to describe her. This past week, Manning (who, on Fox, is still referred to as a "he") was attacked, on Fox & Friends, for getting "special" medical treatment at taxpayer expense. As if that wasn't bad enough, Martha MacCallum hosted right wing lesbian Tammy Bruce for more of the same. Just when you thought that Fox couldn't go lower...

Fox's Dana Loesch wants you to know that despite her heated support for the homophobic Benham brothers, she has friends and family members who are gay. She also wants you to know that her “biggest daily struggle” is “balancing” her conservative activism with “compassion.” If her appearance on The Kelly File Friday night is any guide, I think it’s clear Loesch needs some more work on that “compassion” thing.

Only on Fox News would a pundit liken a market-based, private health insurance program to Soviet Russia. And not get laughed off the set.

It was bad enough that Fox regular and self-described “capitalist pig” Jonathan Hoenig  argued that protesters wanting a $15 an hour minimum wage are akin to “robbers.” But his pretense of concern that a higher wage will somehow cause discrimination against lower-skilled workers is laughable. Or worse.

Laura Ingraham made the outrageous argument last week that American options in Nigeria are limited - because Benghazi. That earned her our Most Outrageous Quote Of The Week Award.
