Does Neil Cavuto Think Social Security Or Infrastructure or Food Stamps Are A ‘Cancer On America’s Soul?’
Neil Cavuto opened Monday’s Your World by speaking to “market watcher” Larry Glazer about raising user fees as part of the federal budget negotiations. At the end of the interview, Cavuto said, “I just wish I saw the same creativity when it came to cutting spending that’s all. But Larry, thank you very much.” As Glazer laughed, Cavuto continued, “I mean they wouldn’t have to call it cutting spending. They could say, you know, curtailing a cancer on America’s soul. That might work.”

If ever you needed proof that Republican partisanship trumps truth and integrity on Fox, witness the return of the discredited Dick Morris as a legitimate pundit on Hannity last night.

Now that Rupert Murdoch has dumped his serial home-wrecking third wife, Wendi Deng Murdoch, he seems to be getting his strokes from a new, much-younger woman: his massage therapist. Oh, and as for Wendi the Homewrecker? She seems to have set her – uh, eyes on a new mogul: Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google.

After their defeat in the 2012 election, the GOP, in its "autopsy," determined that they needed to tone down the rhetoric about the makers and the takers because it alienated a large group of voters, many of whom are minorities. But that message doesn't seem to have resonated with the hosts of Fox & Friends who continue to slam those, who need food stamps to feed themselves and their families, as greedy parasites who vote for Democrats because of the "free" stuff. That the well compensated "friends" appeal to angry white folks who believe that their money is being stolen, in order to reward lazy slugs (read black and brown), was underscored on this morning's Fox & Friends during which the vice-presidential candidate for angry white folks, Sarah Palin, joined in the poor people bashing. In addition to the war on Christmas, Fox continues to show that it's on the front line of class warfare
Read moreFranklin Graham Says Fox News On A Mission From God!!!!
Despite its claims to be "fair & balanced," Fox News blatantly panders to the evangelical/ Catholic religious right with its constant parade of persecuted Christians and a resident Catholic priest who channels right wing talking points. While cynics might say that this bias is a way for Roger Ailes to increase ratings and ensure that conservative Christians/Catholics continue to vote Republican, it is apparent that Mr. Ailes is also an earthly conduit for a higher power, at least according to Billy Graham's son, Franklin Graham whose father's life and mission were chronicled on a recent Fox News special which was promoted on Fox & Friends and hosted by the very Christian Sean Hannity. During Graham's recent birthday bash, where he was flanked by various sycophants including Fox hosts, Donald Trump, Glenn Beck, and Sarah Palin, it wasn't just God who was praised. God's very own network, Fox News also got a divine shout-out!
Read moreSarah Palin Promoting Her War On Christmas Book
Sarah Palin’s War on Christmas book is out. To be honest, I thought she’d quit it before it got published. But I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that she had someone else do most of the work. Still, judging from her appearance to hype it on Hannity tonight, it seems to include just the kind of maliciousness in the name of God and country you’d expect from Palin.
Read moreFox News Sunday's Phony ObamaCare Victim
If you watched Fox News Sunday yesterday, you probably saw Cade Joiner, introduced merely as a businessman who lost his health insurance plan thanks to the Affordable Care Act ("ObamaCare"). Wallace described Joiner as one of the "folks outside of the Beltway." FoxNews.com titled its video of the discussion similarly. That may be technically true since Joiner is from Atlanta. But what Wallace didn't tell you? Joiner is a Republican operative.
Read moreFox Nation Mischaracterizes Poll Findings About Uninsured Americans And ObamaCare
Fox Nation apparently lifted a Breitbart.com post without taking the time to look at the Gallup poll Breitbart based its writing on. Either that or the “fair and balanced” website knowingly posted the headline, “Gallup: The Uninsured Reject ObamaCare” when that’s not what the Gallup poll found.
Read moreFox & Friends Showcases Hate Group Head's Military Service While Advancing Persecuted Christian Soldier Meme
One of the religious right's foundational beliefs is that good Christian members of the military are being persecuted by the evil Obama administration. As Fox News loves its persecuted Christians and hates Obama, it isn't surprising that America's "fair & balanced" network transforms these memes into yet another faux controversy much of which is generated by Fox's Todd Starnes. Relying on an endless supply of anonymous sources, Starnes seizes on these alleged outrages, many of which stem from attempts, by the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, to push back against aggressive Christian proselytizing in the military. As the flagship show for persecuted Christians, Fox & Friends never wastes an opportunity to push the narrative. In May, Steve Doocy validated the complaints of the homophobic retired general Jerry Boykin, VP of the SPLC hate group, the Family Research Council. This morning, the Fox & Friends professional Christians welcomed the FRC's head honcho, Tony Perkins to discuss the same issue. And to give him even more credibility, the pals stressed Perkin's military service.

For the past three weeks on Fox News Sunday, the Power Play of the Week segment has featured a Fox News personality selling a new book. Yesterday, it was Brian Kilmeade. For the two weeks before that, it was Charles Krauthammer.
