It's ironic. Mike Huckabee was shouting hosannas to the highest when the Supreme Court ruled that godly Christian companies, like the sacred Hobby Lobby, could prevent their slutty slut employees from getting their free birth control courtesy of their "Uncle Sugar" president. But now that various courts are ruling in favor of allowing the godless sodomites to marry, the Huckster is singing a different tune. In what appears to be a stunning example of a double standard, Huckabee told fellow American Taliban mullah Christian leader Rick Scarborough, that American Christians shouldn't accept court rulings that don't comport with Christian Sharia the Bible.
Huckeabee whined about the "slaughter" of American children since the very bad, no good Roe v Wade. He compared legalized abortion to the Holocaust, a comparison which he has previously made and one for which he has been criticized by the ADL. Turning to gay marriage as an example of bad court decisions, he asserted that these decisions are really invalid because there has been "no enabling legislation."
He reminded people that "the judicial branch is not the supreme branch" and that the "Supreme Court is not the supreme being." After noting that there are three branches of government, he preached that "one of them can't overrule the other two" and all three of them can't overrule the people" who, as Huckabee should know, support legalized abortion, same sex marriage, and legalized abortion.
Huckabee continued his sermonette. He said that "We have people who say 'well, the courts have ruled on abortion, we just have to live with it,' or 'the courts have ruled on same-sex marriage, we just have to live with it and I would suggest, no we don't! We shouldn't just accept things that are ungodly and that will cause us to have to stand before God with bloody hands."
He urged pastors to "call people to biblical truth as it relates to the issue of life and marriage" and to tell their congregants to "vote the bible." To those who say that the Bible doesn't address economic problems, he claimed that if people voted biblically, the economy would be fixed because the bible has all the answers on economic matters.
I guess for Mike Huckabee, not all court decisions are created equal?
One of the most important decisions a President can make is appointments to the Supreme Court since it’s a lifetime once the Senate approves the nominee. Nearly 30 years later we still have Reagan appointees Scalia and the only real swing vote, Anthony Kennedy who usually leans right, but will occasionally vote with the liberal justices.
