Famous "dick," proud gay basher, and Fox contributor Tucker Carlson knows how hard it is to be a white man. There was that whole slavery thing followed by years of systemic discrimination, racial profiling, and job discrimination. Oh wait, that's not at all true except in the fevered mind of white privilege poster boy Tucker Carlson who thinks that whites are the new black. Appearing on Alex Jones radio show, Carlson agreed with 9/11 truther and all around conspiratorialist Jones that the "new" KKK is made up of minorities who get their jollies making white men's lives miserable. True story.

Carlson, who thinks that black on white crime is "fashionable," agreed with Jones contention that white people are being made to feel guilty about being white. He also had no problem with Jones' belief that the Democrats have recreated the KKK with minorities - a statement that is totally batshit crazy given that there are no burning crosses on white lawns and no "strange" white "fruit" hanging from American trees. And correct me if I'm wrong but the new crop of voter suppression laws are not designed to suppress the white vote. It goes without saying that Jones' statement is highly offensive to the memory of those African-Americans who were brutalized and murdered by the real KKK which still exists.

Carlson also said that although he hates segregation, "there's no question that the country is more race conscious than it was when I was a kid. I thought we were moving away." And in yet another example of why the white, Republican oligarchy won't be winning national elections any time soon, Carlson articulated a favorite right wing and Fox News meme about those dreadfully, tacky, lazy, dark skinned moochers: "The federal government takes sides and hands out spoils based on skin color." Carlson compared these "handouts" to the days when, in discriminating against blacks, the "government" was taking "sides based on race."

Oh, poor Tucker. It's been a long and brutal road but he and his fellow oppressed white men need to keep their eye on the prize so that they can overcome and be free at last - thank white God almighty, free at last! White Power?
