Not only does Fox News report the news; but it's now making news. As part of its role as media conduit for the anti-choice lobby, Fox New is promoting their meme that Dr. Gosnell's clinic is what happens in all abortion clinics. In an effort to sway public opinion against Gosnell in particular and abortion in general, Fox News put together a "special report" about Gosnell. That the intent was to sensationalize and editorialize was underscored by the title of the report, "See No Evil."  While the Fox audience was probably pretty darned impressed with the "shocking" nature of the program, Gosnell's attorney was pretty pissed off about it.

Today, he requested that the judge ask the jurors if they had seen the program which, he asserted, was an attempt to sway the jury with its biased depiction of Gosnell and its focus on the Grand Jury Report. It appears that none of the jurors saw the show. Still, mistrial?? So now Fox is affecting the News. Wow. Somewhere, William Randolph Hearst is jealous!
