Hannity Cites His Seminary Background During 'Noah' Bashfest!

Despite the toxic verbal sludge, directed against those who don't meet his high standards of right wing orthodoxy, Sean Hannity, like fellow Fox Catholic alpha-male Bill O'Reilly, frequently invokes his devout Catholicism. Last night, during yet another Fox segment bashing the godless movie "Noah," Hannity referenced his seminary background and theology acumen for extra added effect. Like Bill O'Reilly, Hannity is a legend in his own mind

Hannity and Earhardt whined about the characterization, by one of Earhardt's interviewees, that the term "creator" is "universal" when it really comes from "the Judeo-Christian bible." (Actually, Sean, it comes from Jewish scripture and was incorporated into the Christian bible). When Earhardt provided us with the number of times "God" is used, in the bible version of Noah, Hannity credited her with "great research." Shapiro, an Orthodox Jew like official Fox rabbi, Aryeh Spero, blithered about how the movie ignores the the Noah story of sin and redemption and replaces it with a message of radical environmentalism in that the sinners are portrayed as destroyers of the environment and that God has been replaced by Gaia (mother earth).

After Hannity opined that the ending of the movie was reminiscent of the story of Abraham, he burnished his Catholic creds: "I did go to a seminary and studied theology for four years." He tossed to Fr. Morris who ranted about how the film "changes the nature of God, blah, blah, blah." Morris did acknowledge that because of the brevity of the film, he understands why creative license would be used. Hannity worked in a subtle attack on the director of the film: "How do you have an atheist that says that it's not about the Judeo-Christian ethic...would I be wrong in saying almost a mockery." Fr. Morris "hoped" that it's "willful ignorance."

Back to that seminary thing. Hannity went to the now closed St. Piux X Preparatory School in Uniondale NY. This was a Catholic high school which prepared students for entry into a "theological" seminary after the completion of which the student would be ordained as a priest. After graduation, Hannity did not pursue the priesthood; but dropped out of two colleges after having attended some classes. He did not receive a degree in theology. But if he thinks that he's some kind of theological scholar, he can keep on pretending!

Back to that "willful ignorance" - that pretty much sums up Hannity and his show.

From Joe Marsh’s comment:

“So tell us Hannocchio, suppose those lib commies are right about global climate change and all the grain farms dry up — whatya gonna feed the cows with then?”

Dear Joe: how about BULLS**T? After all, Sean KKKlannity produces TONS of that daily, doesn’t he?

Pope Francis should excommunicate KKKlannity, Bildo, Jabba the Ailes and Wrinkled Murdick.

It was the grace of the Creator that this cafeteria Catholic didn’t become a priest. With his so-called “behavior” he was unfit to become a priest.

This Long Island Lolito is no “Christian.” If the masses knew what he has done in his life his broadcasting career would be over. He has a dark side that he keeps hidden, but a small group of people know what he’s really like, and will spill the beans in time.

Look at Barbie Earhardt’s mic. It’s missing the Fox “News” logo on it. When reporters are out in the field they always have a Fox “News” mic flag, a square box that fits on a mic to identify a station. By removing the mic flag the actors on the Red Carpet are unaware of Fox “News” presents.

It boils down to this. Noah is number one at the Box Office, compared to 21st Century Fox’s Son of God. It’s all about competition for movie-goer dollars. So these frauds stir up “controversy” to sabotage the film, Noah.

This would never be an issue If Noah was distributed by 21st Century Fox. Any mouthpiece, or contributor who criticizes anything connected to News Corporation or 21st Century Fox would be out of a job. The suits have no problem giving people their walking papers, followed by a security escort out of the skyscraper.

These suits at this fraudulent “news” outlet are dirty.

NOTE TO HANNITY

Genius, we can’t wait to review your little film, “A Long Way Off” this summer. Based on what we’ve seen so far, it’s horrible.

Great research? Oh dear. All she did was run word search on her computer.

This sort of nonsense reminds me of the level of ignorance displayed by the Johns Commission that investigated the faculty of the University of South Florida during the early 60s. To demonstrate the evil within the English department, the commission members counted the swear words in one of Salinger’s the stories and totally missed the point of the story (which was adultery, BTW). They at least had to do the count manually.
This brand of ignorance is rather more blatant than wilful, IMO.

And why not? Hannity pretends to be an expert on military affairs without ever having served, on foreign policy without ever having been in the Diplomatic Corps, on education without having finished two colleges, and on torture of detainees while STILL not following through on that promise to be waterboarded . . .

Ray Palerno: “So, in other words, he didn’t go to a seminary at all. He went to a Catholic high school from which he was supposed to then enter the seminary.”
-———-

And how he even graduated from high school is anyone’s guess, considering how much hookey he must played with his shanty Irish teen punk pals.

But Slanthead probably didn’t worry about getting an education. “Sean,” he told himself, “You’re gonna lie and cheat your way through life and wind up on top, so someday you can live in a 17-room McMansion on the North Shore while holding onto another slightly smaller bungalow there, as well a Florida condo.”

He said (today, yesterday… I don’t remember) that he also wants to add a cattle ranch in Texas to his real estate portfolio.

So tell us Hannocchio, suppose those lib commies are right about global climate change and all the grain farms dry up — whatya gonna feed the cows with then?

Well, if seannie had bothered to take a college level class about the bible, he would have also learned about other creation myths from other cultures and their similarities and differences from Genesis tales. He would have heard Noah and Jonah and Adam and Eve all called “creation myths” by his professor. And if he were as lucky as I was when I took a class on the First Testament he would have a Jesuit professor.

If he had bothered to continue with his education.
