Fox News Website Features Muslim Baiting Headline?

"Fear Incorporated" is a Center of American Progress report which describes Fox News as part of a network of people and groups that promote anti-Islamic talking points in order to foment fear and loathing of Islam. Media Matters has documented numerous instances in which Fox News "bashes Islam with impunity." An article in "Salon" describes how Fox News is part of the Islamophobia industry. So is today's Fox News website headline, which specifically cites "Muslim" attacks on our embassies, just part of their "fair & balanced" approach to news or just another Pavlovian example of getting their audience to salivate with the ringing of the "Muslim" bell. A check of other news websites shows a very different approach. Used to be that the incendiary headlines were relegated to Fox Nation. Now they've gone mainstream? If Hispanics, in Latin American countries, were to attack our embassies, would Fox News say "Catholic mobs" were involved? Probably not

One picture is worth a thousand words - and words matters - especially for Fox News.

Oh, I just wish that some of those evil Muslims would attack our Saudi embassy. It’d be very interesting to see just how FoxNoise and its website would handle THAT story (considering that a certain Saudi royal—who, by Saudi law, MUST be one of those evil Muslims—is a part owner in FoxNoise).

I’m kinda guessing that the story would be buried on FoxNoise.

(And, no. I’m not really hoping for an attack on any embassy or consulate. It’s just a way of venturing speculation.)

Following two disastrous wars in the XXth century, most countries in Europe enacted laws against hate-speech. Their experience had demonstrated time and time again (the latest time being in Yugoslavia) that allowing hate-speech to flourish will eventually encourage the idiot on duty to start shooting and the game of retaliation starts. I saw it happen in Yugoslavia and the hatred continues to smoulder under the ashes.

The next war on Muslims will probably end with the nuclear bomb, especially if the gorilla alfa males are in charge.

A reminder to our beloved trolls, your two weeks of food and water in the bomb shelter will end well before it is safe enough to stick your noses out. And you had better be ready to eat plants and insects because nothing else will survive.
