Utah GOP Fundraiser Accused Of Multiple Rapes - Fox News Ignores?

Posted by Priscilla -26.60pc on July 25, 2012 · Flag

Can you imagine how the writers for the Fox News website and Fox Nation would be salivating over news that a Democratic fundraiser, with connections to President Obama and other top Dem's, had been accused of multiple rapes? It would certainly be a lede on Fox News.com and Fox Nation where the resident troglodytes would be braying about how this is an example of how the Democrats have no morals. So as the "Church Lady" would say, isn't it special that neither of the above websites have anything related to last week's report that a top Utah GOP fundraiser, Greg Peterson, is being charged for serial date-rape. One assumes that the salacious and sleazy alleged actions of Peterson, had they been perpetrated by a Democrat would get detailed attention. But so far - crickets!

Gregory Nathan Peterson isn't just your run of the mill fundraiser. He "has hobnobbed with the likes of Sens. Orrin Hatch and Mike Lee, Gov. Gary Herbert, U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz, and candidates such as 4th District congressional contender Mia Love." He even co-chaired a fundraiser for Mitt Romney in 2007. His Facebook page has a photo of him with Mitt Romney. But when he wasn't helping his GOP pals, he was, according to the allegations, engaging in some sleazy business not exactly in accordance with the GOP "family values" (but then again...).

Four women are pressing charges. The charges, by two of the four women (one of whom he met in church!), involve allegations that Peterson took them, at gunpoint, to his cabin where he raped them. One woman alleges that he beat her when she refused to submit to him. One woman alleges that she was held hostage at his cabin. The other two women allege that he raped them at their residences. Court papers say that one of these incidents took place on the same day as the GOP state convention. The Salt Lake City Tribune details the charges: "two counts of aggravated kidnapping, three counts of rape, seven counts of object rape, and one count of forcible sexual abuse, all first-degree felonies; nine second-degree felony counts of forcible sexual abuse; one third-degree felony count of burglary. He also is charged with one count each of assault and sexual battery, both misdemeanors."

Goodness, gracious me, can you imagine the vitriol that would be unleashed by Fox News if Peterson were a Democrat? Just saying...

O’Loofah would probably blame it on the clothing the women were wearing, if he would actually comment on it (insert hysterical laughter here).

Why would anyone think FoxNoise would care? FoxNoise doesn’t believe rape happens (unless, as pointed out, the suspect is a Democrat) to innocent women. I’m guessing they haven’t figured out how to slut-shame the women bringing the charges so they’re keeping it hush-hush. Once blowhard Limbaugh determines the best way of blaming the women, FoxNoise will fall in right behind (and every woman at FoxNoise will be reminded—once again—of exactly WHY they were hired; brains have nothing to do with it).

MItt Romney is also tied to Robert LIchfield, the founder of the infamous WWASP program:

Fox News has yet to say anything about this, either.

it would be a good bet if fox news does announce this, Mr Peterson will be identified as a (D)emocrat.
