The wild conspiracy was that the attack was not a “protest”, but a coordinated attack by Ansar al-Sharia. and that Ambo Stevens had requested more security and was denied, and that GRS was told to “stand down” and not protect the ambo.

Then we found out all those things were true. Every one of them. None of them were debunked. The only issue was they could never prove whom in the state dept gave the order to not give extra security, or to stand-down.
