Fox News outrageousness last week included gushing over Donald Trump’s attacks on the press, blaming Governor Susana Martinez for Trump’s attack on her, a conspiracy theory about immigration and, sadly, yet another call for Trump supporters to get violent with protesters from the Sheriff of Milwaukee County. And more. Check 'em out after the jump. And cast your vote!
Deneen Borelli, attacking an African American state representative who objected to proposed legislation requiring students to recite The Declaration of Independence:
"For her to be attacking The Declaration of Independence, that is attacking liberty. That’s attacking freedom."
Harris Faulkner, suggesting that Governor Susana Martinez snubbed a Donald Trump rally because she’s a prejudiced Hispanic:
"We know that she was not in his camp. There were calls within the party for her to at least show up to the rally that was scheduled, to at least, you know, maybe not endorse him. So there is some bad blood there, I guess, for lack of a better term, right there. And I don’t know if it’s a demographic thing."
“Liberal” Eboni Williams gushing over Trump’s attack on the press for calling out his lies about donating money to veteran charities.
"This was a complete boss move by Trump today."
Martha MacCallum, responding to Eric Trump's load of manure defending allegations of fraud against Trump University:
"So you think the good outweighs the bad, essentially. That any time you have a business, you’re going to have some customers, and even some employees, who are disgruntled or dissatisfied. Is that the way you see it?"
Monica Crowley’s conspiracy theory about why the left wants “open borders.”
"On the left, they want to flood the zone, they want to lock as many illegal immigrants into dependency on government programs and the ultimate objective of that is to lock in a permanent Democrat voting majority."
Andrew Marcus, blaming Telemundo for violence at Trump rallies because a cameraman stopped two people in order to film them holding a protest sign and a Mexican flag.
“It isn’t just that they were staging news. They were staging a lie…
The mob feels empowered to do it because of things like what Telemundo did. They receive cover from the media. The media don’t reveal the truth about the violence there.”
Sheriff David Clarke advocating violence against anti-Trump protesters (again).
"You snatch my hat off my head, it’s gonna be a move you’re gonna regret for a long time. You snatch my sign out of my hand, of my candidate, I’m coming back after it and just because I get it back doesn’t mean the fight is over. So this is the only thing that these idiots will understand."

Monica is saying the same self-serving right-wing accusation of Democrats being for undocumented immigrants to flood across the border for votes we’ve heard pimped on FOX a zillion times before. But in a time of peaking white conservative racial, ethnic, and religious resentments this bulls—t needs to be exposed for what it is. It’s an excuse to whitewash these nativist resentments as some other than ugly bigotry. It’s crap like this that creates hateful and dangerous demagogues like bigot magnet Trump.
