O’Reilly’s Stalker Producer Ambushes Obama’s Uncle

Posted by Ellen -460.20pc on February 21, 2013 · Flag

If you had any reason to doubt that O'Reilly Factor's stalker producer Jesse Watters – editor of the go-to website for people longing for President Obama’s assassination, Fox Nation – is anything less than a malicious bully, then check out how he deliberately ambushed and harassed President Obama’s “illegal alien” uncle – all the while pretending to “just want to talk.”

Of course, the whole point of the exercise was to embarrass President Obama. Even though his uncle, Onyango Obama, the half-brother of the president’s father, whom he barely knew, is clearly not at all close to the First Family.

“He is perhaps the most famous illegal alien in the world,” O’Reilly said tonight, as a graphic on the screen read, “President Obama’s illegal immigrant uncle” next to Onyango Obama’s photo. Rather than go interview Onyango Obama himself, O’Reilly sent Watters to do his dirty work.

But first, Watters underscored the fact that President Obama has an “illegal” relative by asking a series of people on the street what should happen to the uncle. “Do you think he’s getting special treatment?” was one of the “questions” Watters asked.

Then it was on to the store where Onyango Obama works.

Mr. Obama obviously wanted nothing to do with Watters. “We don’t… No…” were his first words to Watters – who feigned obsequiousness at the same time that he was deliberately trying to humiliate Obama.

When Mr. Obama told him to leave, Watters said, “You don’t have to get angry with me. I just have a quick question for you.”

Obama walked away, saying, “No questions. Thank you.”

So Watters followed him, saying “I just have a quick question.”

Obama said he had called the cops and “I don’t want no questions.”

Watters disregarded that and, in a voice full of phony gentleness said, “That’s my only question, do you think you deserve citizenship? I’m not here to bust your chops.”

No, of course he wasn’t. He was there to bust President Obama’s chops. Embarrassing and intimidating Onyango was just collateral damage.

Back in the studio, Watters and O’Reilly gnashed their teeth – with ghoulish grins – over the “special treatment” they thought Obama’s uncle must have received if he has not yet been deported despite a DUI. “This is a joke!” O’Reilly exclaimed.

Well, he got that right, but not for the reasons he thought.

Although Onyango Obama has lived in this country mostly peacefully and without incident for 50 years (and he’s the president’s uncle), Watters sneered, “He’s a high priority deportation case and they’re lettin’ him stay.”

By the way, when the tables were turned and Gawker confronted Watters about his tactics, Watters refused to talk and drove off “like a coward.”

Killer O’Reilly sez

Watters and the guy who murdered Dr. Tiller are Top Dogs in my book. Now that damn defense lawyer who cost me $2 million just for sexually harassing some bimbo, he’s history. I mean, the law’s what I want it to be …

No, not a chance of that, IMO.

Been musing a bit on how intriguing it is to see the likes of O’Reilly and Watters resort to trespassing and harrassment on the grounds that they’re simply exercising their rights to freedom of speech. A freedom they’d be more than happy to deny to anybody they disagree with, but that’s another story.

I forget how many states have some version of the “Stand your ground” law (I know Florida’s is particularly inviting to the gun-toting crazy). Is it possible that O’Reilly may actually be hoping someone takes a shot at Watters? Wouldn’t put it past them, I wouldn’t.

is removing aria’s comment a violation of her freedom of speech guaranteed under the constitution.
i would have preferred it to stay up for all to see, after all she typed it.
censorship, or protection of one of sites own i wonder.
left a fowl taste in my mouth, but i do not wish to see anyone censored here.
just watters hounded into the ground by his own tactics used against him.

the out of line comments was made to me, and i appreciate the support i have got from fellow newshound fans.
i was shell shocked at 1st then thought why worry.
i also believe the only person who can apologise for someone is themself.
ellen you did not make the comment and have nothing to apologize for.
many labor party people in australia follow american politics with keen interest.

Welcome back, rohrhide. I apologize for Aria’s comment. It was out of line and is being deleted.

I’ve been following this site for a long time and used to post from time to time – until it got a bit difficult for a while in order to weed out the trolls so I just reverted to reading the stories and comments. Anyway, I reactivated my account in order to support a fellow Aussie.

Like him I take an interest in US politics (it tends to be a bit more interesting than ours) and support the Labor Party as the lesser flawed of two flawed parties. And like him, I was very surprised by Aria’s reaction to his comment. I always thought her comments reasoned and yet, at one query re your system (which could have been a little less ‘what is it with you guys …?’ I guess), you launch into a tirade against him. Crikey! Strewth!

The gun debate (which this touched on) has particular resonance for us in Oz. And, despite opposition by the gun people, our equivalent of the Republicans changed the law. I think that is all aussie onlooker was basically saying-laws can be changed if there is support and will and a logical reason for doing so.

So Aria I also am surprised and disappointed at how you flew into attack mode-as aussie said, more like the right wingers than what I am used to on this site. Is your basic attitude that no-one living outside the US has the right to comment on aspects of your society and laws despite the pervasity of your culture, not to mention military, over much of the globe? If so then it’s disappointing to me that someone who is on ‘my side of the aisle’ politically can be just as ‘USA, USA’ as any right winger.

And if you are going to characterise us by a movie, then I can suggest much better examples than Crocodile Dundee in the same way that I imagine you’d not like to be stereotyped by Rambos 1, 2, 3 and 4. Muriel’s Wedding or The Castle are much more representative IMO. And funnier.

Whew! Making up for lost time I guess. And BTW, Jesse Watters is a wanker and needs to pull his head in.

Well, Lordy Lordy and Hell on steroids. Looks like we got us a genuwhine Orstralyun telling us how to beat beaver.

Aint it amazing how these half-cooked Limeys who we had to save from the Krauts, twice, can suck down a few Guiness and start showing all the courage they never had at Valley Froge or New Orleans?

I is a Texan and a proud one. I say LBJ was the best President this here Republic ever had under God. I aint got no issues with Obama and don’t have no problem with what he’s gone and done. I like the coloured folks and figures theys almost like us – ’cepting they be black an all.

But aint no-one taking my guns; specally since theres all them Muslims in need of a good licken and few more drones up the ass.

Only today I was jawing with my cousins Cindy-Lou and D’Wayne and theys be telling me them Muslims is infiltratin Mexico and planning on storming across the Rio Grande – down Brownsville way they say.

Well I’m ready. I got my Magnum and my Bushmaster and half a ton of ammo – plus a barn full of home-made amonal to blast them rag-heads all the way up Allahs butt – and I’ll shove a few yellow roses up there so he’ll know who done it an all.

This “Aussie Onlooker” don’t sound like no Crocodile Dundee or Steve Irwin to me – more like some crumpet-eating English fag. He should round up his kangabats and wombaroos and keep his gobble-hole shut – lesten I come on down there and give him a good whuppin.

Sheesh: Aussie and I seem to have met on a passing wavelength …

On topic: I really like Visitor’s 55 post on Obama having – at the ripe old age of 12 months – made all the necessary arrangements for 50 years of special treatment for his half-uncle.

Says it all in a very effective nutshell.

As I read it, all Aussie onlooker said was that a country with a similar pioneer background (with a sizeable dose of jail bait thrown in, something only Georgia shared with them) was able and willing to control the individual ownership of firearms after a particularly bad killing spree. And that it worked.

He was offering an example that it can be done, that’s all (IMO)

Hate to say this, Aria, but you reacted in a typically RW manner on this one: “I can say anything I want to about (select one: my country, my father, my dog, my religion, string beans), but I won’t listen to any outsider saying the very same thing.”

Americans started modifying the Constitution as from the time of signature and it’s perhaps time to take a good hard look at the 2nd amendment.

Aussie’s been around for quite a long time (mostly lurking) and he’s never been a troll. Not even this time: he’s just as perplexed as the rest of us at the way some people cling to their guns as Linus clings to his blanket.

thanks a. a. p. for your intelligent, measured and civilised comment.
i have for a very long time known that all americans are not murkins lol, as you say.
i have visited the states from time to time and am just bemused as to why the constitution can’t be a living thing with adaptions from time to time.
after all the 1st and 2nd amendments were changes.
cheers.

what is it with you american’s and the 1st and woteva amendments. something written years ago can now be just wrong, i. e. the bible.

…

The problem with that type of generalization is many people, not only Americans, take offense to being insulted in their own homes.

I am not going to wash the laundry list of the ugly ‘murkan; I’m only going to focus in your first contention. Unfortunately, there is a good chunk, I cannot give a specific percentage, of ’murkans who truly believe the jingoistic and religious crap regurgitated by the wingnut media.

That’s it. End of discussion. It is like talking to a cult member. Since President Obama’s campaign in 2008, the wingnutz have gone unhinged. Every fuggin’ fruitcake has become a constitutional expert, channels the founding fathers, and foresees the demise of ’murka and the rise of communism because we have strayed away from dog and the basics of the constipation.

That’s it. Unfortunately, those who are a bit more sane get dragged along with the uglies.

Back during Chimperor Bush regime, we the dissenters were maligned as aiding and abetting the enema by the likes of Billdo.
Now that President Obama has made some progress in cleaning up the mess left by the wingnuts, the same likes of Billdo keep insisting we the dogless leftists are to blame for libertine attitudes, class warfare, and the overall demise of the country.

To “clinging to their guns and their buybles” I would add “their constipation”

Intern Jesse would blow a fuse if the masses turned the tables on him, and ask his family a few personal questions.

Billy is currently touring in select cities around the nation. We encourage the masses to ask those attending the event if they felt comfortable seeing a man who sexually harassed a female employee at Fox “News” Channel. Don’t forget to videotape the conversation.
aussie onlooker commented 2013-02-22 22:04:06 -0500 · Flag
well for starters we had no problems banning guns from households despite the shooting cranks opposition.
watters would be charged with stalking and being a public nuisance here if did not decamp immediately on request of his victim and feel free to come here any time.
i did not offer to rewrite your constitution, i am just amazed that it is such a holy cow and can’t be criticized or altered.
i am a fox news hater, not a troll, and find that they and every other ratbag outfit and commentator use it as a means of defence that can’t be argued with.
we have not had one mass shooting since the port arthur incident that lead to the banning of guns.
it is your country and you have to live with the consequences of a gun mad society living by a rule that came into being at the time of war of independence.
of course the crims still get hold of guns here, most of which are imported by mail from the states and are not detected by customs.

Tell ya what, Aussie- How about I show up in your country, just to offer to rewrite the Commonweath act, as well as the resulting constitution that is the basis of your national laws…

I’m sure the Aussies would roll over and help me, haing “no hang-ups” and all. Especially if the way I rewrote it only helped one demographic, or created a legal bias in your government, media, etc.

O’Reilly is still stuck with the fact that Barack Obama was re-elected and his candidate is pumping his own gas.

every bad thing, guns, invasion of privacy etc is all blanketed over with omg, we cant change the constitution or amendments, better to let the crazies run amok.
so glad i live here we have no such hang ups.

Dustin, I was more or less venting. I would love to see the end of Ambush Journalism, but even if they found a way to end it without violating the 1st amendment… it opens up worse cans of worms.

Yeah. This wasn’t really about Obama’s uncle – the real target for BOR (and his audience) was Obama. And, as is usual, it’s about BOR too as Watters always seems to ask “have you heard of O’Reilly” and “do you watch The Factor”. Geez.

It’s lucky for Watters that BOR, FOX “news” and PoxNation have such low standards of, ahem, journalism. LOL!
Dustin Witte commented 2013-02-22 14:45:47 -0500 · Flag
Aria, I think you may have read too much into my statement about ambush journalism. I hate it, but I know it’s covered under the 1stA.
