O'Reilly Describes His Anti-Choice Stance As 'Protecting The Kids'

Posted by Ellen -7859.80pc on January 28, 2013 · Flag

On January 23, 2013, Bill O'Reilly read an email from a woman reacting to his segment on late-term abortion (in which he once again defamed Dr. George Tiller). In response to the woman's criticism of men interfering with women's reproductive choices, O'Reilly scolded: My job is to protect the kids and I will continue to do it.

In his email segment, O'Reilly read an email from “Cindy, I'm withholding your last name, lives in Connecticut:”

O'Reilly, you men have no business telling any woman she can't have an abortion.

O'Reilly responded:

The subject was New York State allowing abortions for pretty much any reason in the third trimester, Cindy. If, like Governor Cuomo, you support that, you'd better hope, you'd better hope there's no Judgment Day. My job is to protect the kids and I will continue to do it.

I can understand being pro-life but calling fetuses "kids" is beyond the pale!
