I notice no one’s mentioned how Bill apparently wanted our soldiers to be subject to prosecution by Iraqi authorities.
“By the failure to keep troops in Iraq and that raised up ISIS. They were able to organize because we didn’t have American forces there.”
Bill seems to have forgotten that Dubya was more or less forced to withdraw the US troops because the Iraqis were starting to reassert their sovereignty and demanding the right to prosecute—in Iraqi courts—American troops accused of criminal activities. Dubya wouldn’t agree to that (because he knew his con base wouldn’t accept it).
Of course, if Dubya hadn’t wasted billions of dollars in troops and materiel by invading Iraq in the first place, I strongly doubt that ISIL would’ve ever developed. Saddam had a way with terrorists. Those who furthered his goals were amply rewarded; those who got in his way found bounties on their heads.

Yeah, mj. tRump shows—once again—how completely out of touch he is with reality!
I can only imagine the African-Americans who hear this and could only wish that the system was as “rigged” against them as the primaries were against tRump. If the system were that rigged, they might be able to walk the streets without cops stopping them or be able to play with toy guns without worrying about being shot by cops with real guns or get stopped driving without worrying that bullets will start flying or that their hands aren’t enough in “plain sight.”
Here’s a hint for tRump: When you WIN an overwhelming majority of available delegates through a “rigged” primary system, that’s NOT a “rigged” system. That’s actually how the system works.

Aria, that’s bull. WHAT “wrong” are you accusing Hillary of “doing?”
There were NO rules governing e-mail accounts with respect to the Secretary of State until after all this GOP-led smokescreen. Powell and Rice BOTH confirmed they used private accounts—even FOR government purposes.
As to that “shining their cuffs,” what the hell is THAT based on? If there’d been ANY GENUINE CRIME committed, Lynch couldn’t have done a damned thing about it—at least, not without screwing over her own career.
The GOP and the left-wing Hillary-haters are just pissed off that things didn’t go their way. But there is simply NO “there” there.
Could Hillary have used some better judgment at times? Well, shit, that goes without saying. EVERYBODY could use better judgment (let’s start off with Obama’s utter stupidity in believing he could work with Congressional GOPers or the Bernie supporters who believe he could get his far-left agenda passed with a Congress that has more than 40 GOPers in the Senate). But “poor judgment” is NOT a crime.

I think the whole idea of teaching kids to stand on a toilet seat is inane when you put just a teensy bit of logic to it. Here’s my reasoning:
IF a kid is in the bathroom when a shooting starts, and the shooter just happen to enter that bathroom, who in the world thinks that a shooter trying to maximize a body count is just going to skip it if he doesn’t see somebody in there? EVERY TV show and movie shows the “killer” going through the bathroom, stall by stall, to look for a victim. Just because the killer doesn’t see feet doesn’t mean he leaves—and a stall door that’s closed is going to get a hail of bullets (which doesn’t bode well for someone hiding in a stall). And, let’s face it, an open stall isn’t going to stop a shooter.
Sure, it’s better than nothing but it really does little to make a kid any safer. (Kind of like the old “nuclear bomb” drills. Schools weren’t built to stop the amounts of radiation a bomb would produce so hiding under the desks wasn’t going to do much. It was only a “feel-good” makeshift thing.)

Nah…….we all know he’d never agree to such a massive pay cut.
Associate Justices only make $244,400 a year, (Roberts would never agree to give up being Chief Justice.)
Also, I doubt that even the most right-wing Senators would give an O’Reilly nomination much serious consideration; O’Reilly’s currently 67 years old which would automatically make him the 5th oldest justice (Ginsburg is currently the oldest at 83, followed by Kennedy at 80, Breyer at 78 and Thomas at 68*) Lewis Powell was the oldest appointee since WW2 at the age of 64 (he was actually the third Justice in a row who was over 60 at the time of his appointment) and he only served 15 years before retiring (he lived another 11 years following his retirement).
*The ages may not be exact; they’re derived from their birth year, without checking the specific dates of each (IOW, Thomas was born in 1948; if Thomas was born before June 21, then he would be 68 but if he was born after June 22, then he’d only be 67).

Clyburn should come back with something like this:
“Well, with all due respect, I never really expected Bill to apologize because of white-on-black crimes, like slavery and KKK lynchings. Deep down, Bill wants to go back to the good old days when his kind could openly express their racist hatred by beating up on Black men and boys without a second thought.”
You just know that Bill would be ranting and raving until HE got an apology.

Bondi’s most egregious hypocrisy is that she’s a MULTIPLE-MARRIED skank-ho who relished defending Florida’s ban on same-sex marriage (falling back on the old “one man-one woman” argument).
Oh. And there was that little “wedding-not wedding” issue in 2012 when she and her boyfriend at the time (I can’t find out if they ever did actually get married or not) flew to the Cayman Islands for a “vacation” but one of her friends was under the impression that a wedding was going to be held and posted pictures of the couple and the site but no wedding was held (oddly, it appeared that a number of “close friends” of the couple just happened to be on vacation in the Caymans at the same time but it doesn’t appear to have been a “group” trip or excursion).

I know exactly how Bill feels. I just want to take a 2×4 upside his head “with all due respect.”
Or, more appropriately, I just want to pistol-whip him “with all due respect.”
Maybe “with all due respect” can become the “just kidding” or “psych!” for the rest of the decade. Say whatever outrageous thing you can possibly come up with and follow it up with “with all due respect” and everything’s okay.

If it is, girlfriend needs someone to take care of her 5 o’clock shadow. Or find someone who knows how to light her for the camera.
Only time I’ve ever seen women wear makeup that makes them look like men are women who are dressing up like men for some reason or other (like when Lady Gaga created a male alter ego, Jo Calderone, or when Annie Lennox first performed at the Grammys back in 1984 in male drag).

Where exactly was Faulkner heading when she mentioned everyone’s favorite “Uncle Tom” on the Supreme Court?
I mean, it’s not like he’s ever let his skin tone direct any sort of empathy for cases brought on behalf of underprivileged African-Americans. He’s almost always voted theracist conservative anti-minority party line in every civil rights case (whether in terms of voting rights or employment rights or anything else).
I think a better case would be the example of Scalia and Alito’s continual opposition to any social issue that runs contrary to old-line Roman Catholicism and their absolute refusal to even consider recusing themselves from cases involving LGBT rights or abortion.

From Tuck-Tuck:
“in fact starting a family is necessary to propagating the species.” He added that “it’s the most basic human function there is” and asked why it’s “suddenly offensive.”
Maybe someone should point out that “starting a family” and “propagating the species” are two entirely different functions. As for the “most basic human function” point, not even close. Eating, sleeping, breathing—these are all far more “basic human functions”; without these, you can’t survive.
And perhaps, Tuck-Tuck might want to direct his comment in the direction of those incredibly hate-filled liberals in the Catholic Church who forswear the whole idea of “starting a family”; you know—because they swear celibacy in the service of God as priests and nuns. Now, it is true that many priests and nuns take up that service after they’ve gone through the whole “family” thing, but the Church doesn’t really support this; the Church prefers its “shepherds” to have no external “baggage.”

Did the FoxNoise people show how well they know the Declaration of Independence?
I’d be willing to bet neither Kooiman nor Carlson know the difference between the Declaration of Independence and the Preamble to the Constitution.
I’d also love to know how many of the Louisiana legislators who voted for this idiocy can recite the entire thing.
For the record, I copied-and-pasted the text into a Word document. Did you know that there are 1323 words in the full text of the DoI? (The Preamble to the Constitution has only 52 words; it’s hard to determine the number of words in the full Constitution since so much of the original text has been superseded through amendments—the number of words given for the original document, including signatures, is more than 4500. If you include the signatures on the DoI, it increases the word count to over 1450.) To expect a bunch of elementary students to be able to memorize this thing (when most barely have the time to learn anything that’s not on the barrage of standardized tests that schools are required to give) is utterly insane (no wonder a GOPer thought of it).

What I wouldn’t give to have a time machine and drop this “sheriff” off in Birmingham, AL circa May of 1963 and let him “appreciate” what it’s like when the police “don’t hold back on protesters.”
Or drop him off in the middle of the Chicago Democratic Convention protesters in the summer of 1968.
Or drop him off at Kent State University in the spring of 1970.
You know—sites where the protesters weren’t really being “violent,” just “disruptive” or “unruly,” according to the authorities.
