Listen up, African Americans. Donald Trump can totally relate to any discrimination and injustice you face because the “the system” was “rigged” against him when he ran in the primaries.
In his near daily Fox appearance, this time on The O’Reilly Factor, host Bill O’Reilly asked his milkshake BFF how he would “deal with the racial divide in America” if he were to be president.
The hate-mongering, violence-endorsing, lying, race-baiting, sexist, birther had the nerve to call Obama “the great divider” and claim that he’d be “a cheerleader, not a divider.”
O’Reilly pressed for something more specific: “There are still some black Americans who believe that the system is biased against them," he said. "Because they’re black, they don’t get the same kind shot, they don’t get the same kind of fairness that whites do. What do you say to them?”
Trump totally gets it, in his own mind.
TRUMP: Well, I’ve been saying even against me, the system is rigged. When I ran as a, you know, for president, I mean, I could see what was going on with the system and the system is rigged.
O’REILLY: Yeah, but that’s not going to lift anybody’s spirits. If you say to black America, the system’s rigged, that’s not going to lift their spirits.
TRUMP: No, what I’m saying is, they’re not necessarily wrong. There are certain people where, unfortunately, that comes into play. …I can relate it really very much to myself.
Putting aside the question of whether or not the system really was rigged against him, it just shows how completely out of touch Trump is if he thinks his difficulties in running for president are anything like the difficulties so many African Americans face.
But O’Reilly, the guy who claims to be “looking out for you” from his “no spin zone” did not make any challenge or even question such ludicrous, insensitive and self-centered comments. So he's either just as out of touch as his elitist buddy or he didn't want to make him look bad by highlighting them. Or both.
Watch it below, from the July 12 The O’Reilly Factor.
Reasons? I had a tough primary fight winning only a plurality because when I lost I dodged responsibility by blaming the system.
Oh, and I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night…. psych! No seriously, I wouldn’t get caught dead slumming it with you little guys. I only stay in penthouses at 5 stars.
I can only imagine the African-Americans who hear this and could only wish that the system was as “rigged” against them as the primaries were against tRump. If the system were that rigged, they might be able to walk the streets without cops stopping them or be able to play with toy guns without worrying about being shot by cops with real guns or get stopped driving without worrying that bullets will start flying or that their hands aren’t enough in “plain sight.”
Here’s a hint for tRump: When you WIN an overwhelming majority of available delegates through a “rigged” primary system, that’s NOT a “rigged” system. That’s actually how the system works.
Except for the bailout bankruptcys from Uncle Sam.
Except for the suckers who…
Except for the fact Drumpf won.
That, to me, precludes him from complaining about how “rigged” the GOP primary system is.
Then again . . . that Drumpf would claim the primaries being “rigged” against him makes him totally able to relate to discrimination faced by African Americans, shouldn’t come as much of a surprise: this is the guy who claimed the rigors of the military academy he once attended (and whose position of Cadet Captain he was abruptly removed from) provided him with “more training militarily than a lot of the guys that go into the military” . . .
.
Except for the gigantic grant of money from dear old dad.
Except for the bailout bankruptcys from Uncle Sam.
Except for the suckers who…
