Hannity's To Brokaw: I'm The Only Outspoken Conservative On Fox News

Posted by Ellen -391.40pc on September 06, 2012 · Flag

Last night, Sean Hannity interviewed NBC’s Tom Brokaw. Hannity was in deferential mode, as opposed to his bullyboy mode. At about 6:30 into the video, Hannity began complaining about liberal media bias. Brokaw began to disagree saying that Fox has “a bias to the right.” But Hannity interrupted to say, “I’m the only conservative – outspoken conservative here.”

Maybe Hannity believes that Bill O’Reilly, Eric Bolling, Dana Perino, and Andrea Tantaros, e.g., are not “outspoken conservatives” but I think even they would disagree. Then, of course, there’s the slightly more subtle conservatism of Gretchen Carlson, Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Neil Cavuto.  Plus the guest hosts such as Monica Crowley and Laura Ingraham. Just do a site search on any of those names and you’re sure to see plenty of instances of their blatant conservatism.

And for a more complete overview of Fox News’ bias, check out the documentary that started this blog, Outfoxed.

I don’t know why anyone with a reasonable or balanced view of the issues would ever sit down with Hannity. He waited until very near the mandatory hard break moment to ask Brokaw the question about fairness and balance. He knew Brokaw would likely respond with facts, so he had the hard break as a way to shut Brokaw up (as pointed out by spacegod). Hannity does this every day, and his loyal sheeple will never realize that he always shuts down truth. Hannity has never adding anything of value to public discourse. He is a waste of good air.

After sitting with a sleeze like Hannity, it’s no wonder Brokaw need hospitalization.

I am glad we cleared that up.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Did Seanny Poo just say The Moose Boogers show is no more?

Or pastor fried squirrel? Or Crapputo? The trio of clowns in the morning? The morons on Red Eye?

And Jabba The Ailes himself. What a raging liberal!

Wow. Just wow. For a minute there, it looked like Hannity actually believed Fox is fair and balanced.
But the minute Tom started telling the truth, Hannity says: “I gotta run.”

Hannity can’t shut up about this God and Israel omission. Conservatives acuse liberals of being anti-Israel and have never understood that we simply don’t want to continue to compromise American security by taking sides in a 2000 year old feud between two of the big three idiot religions.

When Sean uses the words ‘outspoken conservative’ my reality translator displays the definition – radical, homophobic, racist, white privilege, theocratic-oligarch. Labels are very subjective on Fox.

Poor, Sean. He must feel like George Custer surrounded by all those non-outspoken conservatives at Fox News. He must feel awfully lonely.

Tom has been carrying water for the corporate media so long that he trips over himself trying to state the usual false equivalency of Hannity’s bullshit.

After all, that’s how Brokaw has thrived for so long while never having to say anything relevant. This stance has secured him a legacy as an objective journalist in the village bubble and has helped pay for his gazillion acre “ranch” in Montana.

It’s not what you are but what you say you are that counts at FNC. On the air, everybody (except Hannity it now transpires by his own admission) claims to be fair and balanced. It’s our duty and privilege to believe them.

I’m flabbergasted by the total disconnect between what is said and what is done on FNC. The idea that there are some people who actually swallow it whole boggles the mind.

And Bildo is an Independent and Van Suckup is a Liberal. We know this because Wrinkled Rupert says it is so, and Rupert would never tolerate lies and deception.
