Last night, Sean Hannity interviewed NBC’s Tom Brokaw. Hannity was in deferential mode, as opposed to his bullyboy mode. At about 6:30 into the video, Hannity began complaining about liberal media bias. Brokaw began to disagree saying that Fox has “a bias to the right.” But Hannity interrupted to say, “I’m the only conservative – outspoken conservative here.”
Maybe Hannity believes that Bill O’Reilly, Eric Bolling, Dana Perino, and Andrea Tantaros, e.g., are not “outspoken conservatives” but I think even they would disagree. Then, of course, there’s the slightly more subtle conservatism of Gretchen Carlson, Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade and Neil Cavuto. Plus the guest hosts such as Monica Crowley and Laura Ingraham. Just do a site search on any of those names and you’re sure to see plenty of instances of their blatant conservatism.
And for a more complete overview of Fox News’ bias, check out the documentary that started this blog, Outfoxed.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Did Seanny Poo just say The Moose Boogers show is no more?
Or pastor fried squirrel? Or Crapputo? The trio of clowns in the morning? The morons on Red Eye?
And Jabba The Ailes himself. What a raging liberal!
But the minute Tom started telling the truth, Hannity says: “I gotta run.”
After all, that’s how Brokaw has thrived for so long while never having to say anything relevant. This stance has secured him a legacy as an objective journalist in the village bubble and has helped pay for his gazillion acre “ranch” in Montana.
I’m flabbergasted by the total disconnect between what is said and what is done on FNC. The idea that there are some people who actually swallow it whole boggles the mind.
