Sean Hannity’s pal, Mark Levin, is mad as hell at Jon Stewart over a Daily Show bit last week that was somewhat critical of Israel’s attack on Gaza. Tonight, Levin visited the Hannity show for a televised diatribe against Stewart. And I’m sorry, Mark, but I don’t think you’re going to win this battle.
For a little back story: Levin recently went on a radio-show rant against Stewart’s July 14th monologue that included some pointed ridicule of Israel (the second video below). Last night, Stewart responded to some degree in a bit where people started yelling at him every time he mentioned Israel (the third video below). Tonight, Levin went on another tirade against Stewart.
Levin claimed he doesn’t watch Stewart but saw “the segment” on the internet. Presumably, he meant both segments. “He’s not a smart guy,” Levin said about Stewart. “He’s a clown.” What Levin never explained – and Hannity didn’t ask – is why he cares so much what “a clown” says about Israel.
LEVIN: The disinformation and the propaganda he was putting out in the form of jokes was outrageous and I would just tell Mr. Stewart that it really doesn’t take a lot of courage to criticize Israel and trash Israel. It’s done all the time.
…So you’re not really a tough guy. You’re not really cutting edge.
Levin went on to argue on Israel’s behalf – apparently feeling the need to answer “the clown.” He concluded his polemic by declaring, “Israel must never demilitarize!”
Stewart never said Israel should demilitarize, at least not that I heard.
But Levin repeated, “I don’t think he’s funny, I don’t think he’s smart. How can he be (with) 10, 30 writers but I thought this particular segment was really putrid.”
Hannity made a hammy show of concern for anti-Semitism – which he used to egg on Levin to attack the Obama administration. Hannity is not only a guy who loves anti-black bigots but he also doesn’t mind palling around with anti-Semites when it’s politically expedient. So pardon me for not buying this sudden burst of sensitivity.
HANNITY: I think there’s a serious side to all this and that is, I think the world is missing some moral clarity here and by that I mean… anti-Semitism in Europe… we’re seeing signs of it here in the U.S. – New York, Boston. We saw signs of it in Canada earlier today. And yet, John Kerry and others are expecting Israel – when you have 1600 rockets fired into Israeli cities, what do they expect them to do? …I don’t understand why this is not a morally clear issue for everybody.
But Levin went back to obsessing over Stewart.
LEVIN: Well, it is morally clear. …If they don’t wipe out Hamas and the Hamas missile sites, it’s never going to end and I would like to educate Jon Stewart and his clapping-seal studio audience to let them know Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. Hamas also was part of the PLO. The PLO’s history goes back to the Mufti, goes back to the Third Reich, the final solution. Read up, Ivy League Boy! Try and figure out exactly what’s going on before you cut your stupid jokes!
Hannity got over his concern about anti-Semitism and now prodded Levin to attack Obama over Russia: “Seems like the president’s unwilling to really take a strong stand, knowing that in fact those Buk missiles came from Russia, those technicians also came from Russia that fired at that commercial jetliner,” Hannity said.
Levin has no apparent experience in foreign policy nor international relations. But somehow, he has a pipeline into the minds of world leaders, both friend and foe.
LEVIN: Look, everybody knows, particularly our enemies and allies abroad, what a weak president this is. This president can’t seem to concentrate on his responsibilities. He thinks giving a speech is actually do(ing) something.
Let me see, who else thinks that talking is actually doing something? Is radio-show host Levin over in Israel helping that great country he feels so strongly for? No. In fact, armchair general Levin never put his fanny on the line for the U.S., either.
Memo to Jon Stewart. If your one segment of mild criticism upset Levin this much, by all means keep it up!
Grab the popcorn and watch Levin's cranky old-man fireworks below.
Mufti to the Reich and the final solution? Seriously?
Yes, the Mufti contacted Hitler because they had a common enemy: England. They did not meet to discuss the final solution. Likewise, the Jewish Agency (de facto state within state at the time) also contacted the Nazis in order to arrange the transfer of Jewish civilians and property to Palestine. Neither side had anything to do with the final solution.
This is another Ayers-Wright-Kenya-colonialism-anti-British being tied to Obama. They just hurl nouns without any verbs (sentence without a verb? are you 5?) and hope something sticks.
“…their brand of hate is becoming more relegated to an ignorant, racist fringe element who, sadly, have their own network!”
Which is why Herr Goebbels II (i.e. Murdoch) and his faithful corpulent toady Jabba the Ailes are LAUGHING THEIR HEADS OFF ALL THE WAY TO THE BANK!

That makes him a 100% PURE DYED-IN-THE-WOOL JAC:
J – JEWISH
A – AMERICAN

Slanthead’s record of over-the-top sucking up to Jew bashers (Gibson, et. al.) is well known. Less obvious is his more subtle hatred of elderly, liberal American Jews. This is a perfect example of his extreme hypocrisy as he does (on the radio) first-person commercials for a Jewish retirement home in the Bronx — even claims he went there to visit (sure, Hannocchio).
The only Jews Hannity respects are those Israelis with their fingers on the button to launch nukes on all the surrounding Moose-lim nations, bringing about the end times which slimeballs like Hannity pray for every day.
[Just for the record, I am fully behind Israel on the current effort to wipe out the scourge of Hamas once and for all, despite the tragic loss of life.]
His failing radio show, meanwhile, is getting more ridiculous. Tuesday, for example, he opened with the “major” news that Bill Clinton has a mistress. This was so important to Slanthead that he bantered about it with his interns (on mic, as he often does these days having nothing intelligent to offer).
Then, after the umpteenth jab at Obama for going to MAHHH-fah’s Vinyard, he got around to some other news. Like the appeals court ruling that Hannity claims will repeal Obamacare.
Not once during the 20 minutes or so that I could tolerate before turning him off, did Hannocchio mention today’s other, conflicting court decision. The world, according to Sean Hannity!
Mark Levin turns my stomach these days. I almost never bother with his psychotic radio rants now. Everyone knows this failed Philadelphia shyster (wasn’t he disbarred?) refuses to take his meds!
