Fox hosts Brian Kilmeade and Pete Hegseth sided with Donald Trump in attacking Jeb Bush for speaking Spanish while campaigning.
Kilmeade didn’t just agree with Trump but validated his nativism.
KILMEADE: I agree with Donald Trump because I've been in the locker room before when there is Spanish speaking, especially the soccer locker room, and now the baseball locker room, and when the Spanish reporters are talking to the player in Spanish, we sit around and go “What's going on here? What country are we in?”
I think that unless it's a Spanish speaking group of press, I think Donald Trump is 100% right.
Cohost Pete Hegseth agreed. "I think he's going to resonate with a lot of Republican primary voters," Hegseth said about Trump, suggesting that Bush is just too multicultural for Republicans.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck was the only one to note a potential benefit to Bush’s effort. "I think where that could benefit him, perhaps, is in the general election should he receive the nomination."
Meanwhile, Trump seems to be doing everything he can to lose the Hispanic vote – and Fox is helping him do it.
