Bob Beckel Calls Out Fox News Disinformation

On Tuesday’s The Five (7/31/12), Bob Beckel called out the “flat-out lie” that Fox was airing about President Obama.

I’d like to think that Beckel, who said, “Once again, we put something on the air that’s a flat-out lie,” is going to continue to forcefully confront and refute Fox’s tactics but the record indicates he’s inconsistent in that regard.

Still, he deserves props for what he did say.

Bob you need to at least listen to the morning news to prepare for your evening show. The other hosts are making you look like a fool when you don’t have any idea about the daily events being discussed

Obama should have quoted the great English poet John Donne: “No man is an island, Dumbass!”

Anyone who pretends to not understand what the President said is either hopelessly ignorant or obscenely arrogant or both.

I think of all the right wingerson this panel, only Bolling has enough sense to know this ad is a lie. His comment that “This is Scott Brown’s ad.” seems a pathetic dodge in the face of Beckel’s accusation that it’s a lie.

Good on Beckel. And I too have sympathy for him and his job. if he called out every falsehood aired during this show they’d have no time for anything else.

“Once again, we put something out on the air that is a flat-out lie.” That sentence should be a mandatory disclaimer at the end of every single Fux Noise show.

A majority of people, from both sides, rip Beckel for being on this network of fools. But I look at him as a "someone has to do it " person who has the balls to stand on his own against a group of hypocritical liars and miss informers trying to inject an ounce of common sense into the outrageous nonsense spewed from the Fox Kracken on a daily basis, I would not wish for his job.
