Andrea Tantaros was too cowardly to answer her own incendiary “questions” about whether the Obama White House is anti-Semitic. But when challenged by Bill O’Reilly last night, she repeatedly suggested we should all think so. But only because Tantaros can’t seem to tell the difference between Israel and Jews.
In case you missed it, Tantaros “just asked” on two Outnumbered shows this week whether or not the White House is anti-Semitic. On The O’Reilly Factor last night, she was challenged on it.
O’Reilly whitewashed Tantaros’ hate mongering by calling it “a very provocative point of view.” We can imagine how much harsher he would have described a liberal who raised similar questions about conservatives. Especially one who told her radio show listeners to “do me a favor” and punch an Obama supporter “in the face.” However, we give O’Reilly props for what he did here.
Tantaros acknowledged “a lot of people were upset” about her “questioning” if the Obama administration is anti-Semitic. But “Nobody’s been able, Bill, to come back and say why they’re not,” she gloated.
“An accusation like that, it’s hard to disprove it,” O’Reilly pointed out.
Tantaros played all innocent as she reiterated that she was “just asking the question.” But when O’Reilly insisted she answer, she began trying to duck the personal responsibility she’d probably demand from others.
O’Reilly called the disagreements between Obama and Netanyahu matters of policy. “If Israel elects a liberal prime minister on March 17th,” O’Reilly argued, “I think President Obama would be happy, that he would applaud a liberal leader of that country.”
“I’m not sure,” Tantaros said. “The definition of anti-Semitic as well isn’t just …hating Jews. It’s being not supportive of Jews,” Tantaros argued. “When have you heard President Obama come out and wag his finger with such hostility against the Arab world for their treatment of Israel? He has not done it, nor has anyone in his administration.”
Tantaros was assuming that Israel equals Jews. But as David Corn points out, Netanyahu’s stunt before Congress was a big F.U. to American Jews who are liberal and strongly support President Obama and his policy toward Israel. The fact that Tantaros either doesn’t know that or doesn’t care doesn’t speak so well about her own respect for Jews.
Furthermore, by Tantaros’ own logic, anyone who doesn’t support Obama or the #BlackLivesMatter protests is hostile to blacks. So, Andrea, when have you come out and asked someone to do you a favor and punch a white person in the face? And, come to think of it, why aren’t you accusing Netanyahu of prejudice for his disrespect toward Obama?
Tantaros admitted that she doesn’t think Obama wants to hurt the state of Israel. But, in a final gesture of viciousness, she added, “Final point: if this administration was speaking this way and was this hospital (sic) to blacks, to women, to Hispanics, we’d be asking the same question about that. Just asking the question!”
Sure she is.
It is the history of recent antisemitism from the mid 1870s till WW2. You could say it is summed up by the line “It takes two to tango.”

That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. So basically every time you disagree with a Jewish person, you’re anti-Semitic. Also, the implication that Netanyahu = Jews is pretty dumb. Note to Fox: Netanyahu is NOT the king of the Jews. He is the genocidal leader of Israel…and he happens to be Jewish. It’s amazing how the only thing these Fox frauds know about Israel is that they’ve got a lot of Jewish people there…completely ignoring the Israeli government’s blatant crimes against humanity.
