Armchair General Bill O’Reilly responded to the news that an American aide-worker had been beheaded by ISIS by issuing his marching orders for President Obama – and he’d better listen, damn it!
O’Reilly may have ducked out of fighting a real war when he had the chance but he’s covered four of them. So rather than waste time discussing military options or evaluating the U.S. aggression already underway against ISIS, he skipped right to his commands:
President Obama has condemned the murder as quote an act of “pure evil,” which it is.
But that’s not enough. ISIS now a direct threat to all Americans—they'd kill all of us. Therefore, Mr. Obama much change his tactics. First, he should keep quiet about how the U.S. military deals with ISIS. Don’t say a word. But Special Forces and the U.S. military in general should kill, kill as many of these terrorists as we possibly can.
Borders don’t matter anymore. If we know where they are, we go after them and it also doesn’t matter whether it’s from the air, the sea or on land. All the military assets the USA has should be used in eradicating the ISIS terror group. That is what President Obama must do and if he is unwilling to do that, the American people need to know it.
…This is no diplomacy game anymore. ISIS, Al Qaeda and any other killer group must be eliminated wherever they may be. Those who are captured must be taken (to) Guantanamo Bay.
It’s more than a little disingenuous to suggest that all President Obama has done is to call the beheading “pure evil” or engaged in diplomacy. It’s also more than a little ridiculous to call for “all the military assets” the U.S. has to be used against ISIS. Last I checked, we still have a war going on in Afghanistan, e.g., and the U.S. has other military concerns such as Russia and Ukraine. Is O’Reilly suggesting we put all our troops into the Middle East region? Drop an atom bomb somewhere? Or are those details for the underlings to figure out?
Or maybe he just wants another excuse to call President Obama weak when he doesn’t pay attention to O’Reilly. This is the same strategy O’Reilly deployed when he issued his Ebola marching orders commanding the government to seal the border from West Africans.
Funny thing is that even though a doctor from Sierra Leone died in the United States while getting treatment for Ebola yesterday, I didn’t hear O’Reilly say a peep about that previously urgent threat of Ebola last night.
Watch it below, from last night's The O'Reilly Factor.
