What Fox News Doesn't Tell You About Tim Tebow

Posted by Priscilla -25.80pc on December 26, 2011 · Flag

In the endless coverage of how poor, persecuted Tim Tebow is mocked for his Christianity, the Fox News Tebow cultists seem to cite Tebow's post -touchdown bowing to Jesus as the main source of disrespect towards Jesus brother by another mother. They allude to Tebow's very Christian lifestyle which, they claim, librul haters hate. And it all seems so unfair to poor Tim. But what they don't tell their audiences is that Tebow, before every post game press conference says, "First and foremost, I'd like to thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ." For those who feel that religion is personal, this smacks of pious ostentation at a time when all anyone wants to talk about is football. And speaking of that, Jesus must have been in a nog fog at his birthday party cuz his brother's team got totally smashed on Saturday! No more talk of Broncos "miracles" on Fox Nation this week.

What is Tim thanking his “Lord” for? What exactly is Tim’s concept of “God”? Does Tim think he is being rewarded by God with a football victory? I am not a Born Again Christian, and don’t understand Tim’s religion where God favors people because they’re pro football players. I mean I really don’t get it. Maybe Rick Patel or someone can explain the Born Again thing, especially since it seems to fly in the face of the Bible, Old Testemant teachings, and Jesus’ teachings, for that matter.
Born Agains. Resistance if futile.

Remember back when Muhammad Ali would publicly thank Allah after every professional fight? I do. Remember when the right-wingnuts praised Ali for sharing his faith with all? I don’t either.

St. Carrie Prejean claimed she was a “christian” until the nude photos and her self-produced x-rated videos came out. Since then, she’s disappeared from public view.

Too many conservative christians hide behind the Bible only to be outed as frauds. We know who they are.

Something about Tebow doesn’t sit well with us. He’s too “saintly.” The truth will eventually come out. As they say, what hides in the dark, comes to light.

I haven’t seen this much attention paid to a white Bronco since OJ.

Did you know that when Tim Tebow touches water it turns into Gatorade?

Terrific Tim Tebow stands tall & proud, but walks humbly with his God as he serves his Savior Jesus Christ, who was once the poor carpenter from Nazareth who became the Divine Prince of Peace. Like a giant super-colossus, Tim towers above the asinine athiests & low-brow liberals who scamper & scurry beneath him. He is a winner on the playing field of life.

The Foxies will support pious ostentation every time when a Christian does it. BTW, does anyone else who’s been keeping tabs on the FNC sites think it’s uproariously hilarious that when Tebow was winning there was some kind of higher power involved… then when he lost, the people who brought it up had a perfectly secular reason?

Jesus to Tebow, “Hey, who you crappin’ Tebow?!? I have nothing to do with your lousy throwing and inability to read a defense!!!”
