It's time for our weekly peek into the minds and hearts of Fox News viewers - and it ain't pretty. It is, however rather entertaining and enlightening. So here is the latest installment of our Fox News mailbox, i.e. emails sent to News Hounds in the mistaken belief that we are Fox News. This week, George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin seemed to be the biggest subject on the viewers'/readers' minds. UPDATED: One piece of mail was actually meant for us.

Subject: Use of Deadly Force, FDLE Defensive Tactics Instructor
How come none of you folks have even given a thought to actually stating, live on TV, what actions are considered as deadly force? You all (both sides) keep eluding to the fact that ONLY George Zimmerman can say if he was in fear for his life or great bodily harm.Put yourselves in his place. Your head is being pounded into the sidewalk and he is being punched in the face. It doesn't take but one strike to knock a grown man unconscious. In a quick glance it appears to me that he had at least 3 head slams and two strikes to the face. The aggressor was the man on top as stated by an eye witness. If the man on the bottom is screaming for help again and again he is most definitely at the least in fear of great bodily harm because he undoubtedly believes he has already sustained great bodily harm. The aggressor has already said he that he was going to beat him up and demonstrated he had the ability and intent to do it.Why don't you smart people get several of the top FDLE certified Defensive Tactics Instructors on your show and ask them just how debilitating a strike to the head can be. Especially if you head is already on the ground and you are struck with a downward strike. Your head has no where to go or recoil, thus almost doubling the force of impact.Quit harping on things that happened at trial 3 or 4 days ago. Interview "survivors" of ground and pound. Preferably Correctional Officers or Law Enforcement Officers who might carry a gun. When a legal gun carrying person is assaulted he has two priorities. #1 is to defend himself and #2 is to ensure his weapon remains in his control. Seems like I heard someone testify that the aggressor said he was going to die immediately after he (the aggressor) saw the weapon.Move on to more informative things. Every show hour after hour is a repeat of the hour before. There's just a new hot lady telling us about it. And many of those are proclaimed defense lawyers or state prosecutors. Shed some real light on the legalities of the fight, the shooting and who started it and why it ended the way it did.Come on folks, I know there is more to you than long legs and cleavage. (although I'm not complaining about those things).tks,

Carlton Bartels who invented CO2 carbon calculator computer program was killed ..and the patent was given to Franklin Raines of FM/FM..s really would like someone to research this and expose 0bama and his global warming/climate change Carbon credit trading scheme before he totally destroys out country..

This is the only contact email source I could find. My husband and I are loyal Fox News viewers. We also have XM in the kitchen and vehicles for listening to Fox. I am distressed, though, with the lengthy trial coverage. I know that what happened in regard to Jodi Arias and to Trayvon Martin were/are very important to the people directly involved, but I am sick of the coverage! How did these two trials become worthy of national coverage?! We have a world that is falling apart and a country that is losing much of what has made it strong, successful and a wonderful place to call home. We have a president who seems to care little about anyone who might disagree with him.....or for the values that we once held as a nation. Maybe there is even some good news out there that could be shared.
I think it is great that the trials are on live streaming for those who find them fascinating; however, I would much prefer news that has meaning for most if not all Americans.

Correction:
The correct model number is Kel-Tec PF-9. Pictures of both models look identical however, the PF-9 is thinner. Neither has a hammer.

So I googled “Chicago Climate Exchange” (CCX):
Yes, there was such an entity (it closed in 2010.)
No, it had nothing to do with 9/11 (it started trading in 2003.)
Yes, Sandor founded the exchange.
No, Obama, Ayers, and Gore had nothing to do with its creation (Obama was in the midst of his Senate campaign in 2003.)
As for the scribe’s contention that “On 9/11/2001 1152 people (44%) of the people killed on 9/11 were in Direct competition with the CCX..”, they couldn’t have been competing for very much:
