Alec Baldwin played Bill O'Reilly and Donald Trump in this Saturday Night Live skit about O'Reilly's sexual harassment scandal. It will probably infuriate both of the gropers. But the rest of us can enjoy the satire and have some laughs on them.
Baldwin is perfect in the part but I do not think he was chosen solely for his ability to impersonate O'Reilly.
It's a point made a bit more explicitly in a devastating column by Roger Simon called, "O’Reilly is learning when you’re a star, you can do anything."
But before you read it, do enjoy Baldwin as O'Reilly and Trump below, from the April 8, 2017 Saturday Night Live - and you can rest easy knowing that the Commander-In-Chief won't let a little thing like a new war in Syria distract him from fuming about this, whether in private or in public.
Bill-O chopped up per his habit an interview he had with Baldwin years ago. Then he repeatedly mocked Baldwin’s complaints claiming ‘I made you look good Alec’. Anyone who believes narcissist O’Reilly will make anyone but himself look good believes Mexico will pay for building a border wall.
Hey, now that I think on that, it’s funny how that plays out. ;^)
There’s also the irony SNL brings fellow sexual predator and milkshake sharing buddy Trump into the satire.
But my favorite bit in the entire satire is SNL mocking Fox News’ old geezer viewers with the Eliquis ad, “the official horse aphrodisiac of The Factor”. Tears are still coming from my eyes on that one!
