That’s my take away too, Gary. However, in last night’s and this morning’s analysis (on MSBNC/FOX “news”), I’m not hearing that – mostly what I’m hearing is that Kaine interrupted too much (which he did) and just how impressive Pence’s smooth style was. Looks like much of the corporate media is – so far – going with style over substance. Shame on them.

Kaine was much better when it came to actual facts while Pence’s “no, no” and head shaking outed him as being in complete denial about Trump and what he has said. Maybe after the initial reaction eases up and the real analysis begins, Kaine will get some much deserved credit for being the better prepared and more fact-based candidate.

Dense Pence was using this debate as practice for the 2020 GOPiggy primary debates.
In three months, when someone asks him about Orange Doughboy, Dense will claim he never heard of him.

GO, Pence may not be enough of a ground.

Pence is gave the country a very good preview of how the Republican Party is going to move beyond Trump. Just pretend he never happened.

Much of this debate has involved Mike Pence flatly denying things that Donald Trump clearly has said. One notable example came during a discussion on nuclear weapons, when Tim Kaine asked if Trump still believed it was fine for countries to pursue nuclear weapons.

Pence simply denied that his ticket mate had ever said such a thing. But he has.

Kaine just gave the correct answer on abortion. Not government ’s right to dictate.

I am very impressed with Kaine. Knowledgable and passionate.

I’m not sure that Kaine’s performance is going to have any affect on the election, but he certainly has shown that he is personable as well as capable and qualified.
Pence…not so much.

Mike Pence has just been endorsed by the brotherhood of electrical workers as being a certifiable ground wire for insane republican presidential candidates. Dullard rating 2.zero.

I’m tuning out to watch “Rocky 23”. Rocky gets a rematch with Clubber Lang. Both boxers wear adult diapers.

Orange Doughboy didn’t know Dense Pence until every name GOPiggy turned him down.

Pence pandering to police officers. Lip service to victims. Doesn’t answer DWB.

Here we go. Benghazi. Maybe the republicans have come up with a musical number.

Pence probably had his best moment on immigration and Kaine was still better.

Pence is a puppet and his proposals for Indiana are outrageous. Tim Kaine is very passionate, yes but he needs to stop interrupting, it will take away from the good things he says. Applause for Kaine and periods for Pence.

Kaine comes across as passionate. Pence comes across as a “goody two shoes.”

If so he’s in the right party.

Kaine was good to bring up SS. Hi granny!

Obviously, I’m biased, but it seems to me Pence is coming across as a dummy.

Kaine very convincing. Pence full of talking points.

Pence was chosen to be an electrical ground. He is THAT dullard. Kaine is the live wire in this exchange.

Pence is as interesting as a chrome trailer hitch. Except there’s no beautiful, stacked blonde willing to scrub the chrome off him.

I think Kaine has opened strong and is taking control. Love it!
