On Saturday’s Forbes on Fox, host David Asman “asked” if it’s “time to cast away these expensive tax-payer funded navigators once and for all?” Predictably, four of the six members of the “fair and balanced” panel thought so. However, panelist Rick Ungar gave as good as he got.
Ungar first noted that the report the Republican-controlled committee issued relied on James O’Keefe “who, by the way, while they’re all concerned about criminal behavior (on the part of navigators), he’s the only one who’s been convicted of a misdemeanor and had to pay over six figures to settle the case.”
Later, near the end of the discussion, Ungar said, “I tell you what I’m finding really troubling. Why are you all presuming bad behavior on the part of these navigators? …You have one bad apple. Guess what? There are people who have worked in this building where we’re sitting who turned out to be bad apples. You don’t judge an entire class of people on that.”
I wonder if Ungar comes back to Forbes on Fox after that comment?
