Roger Stone Claims ‘I Had To Kill Hannity Effort’ To Become Trump Chief Of Staff

In what may be the oddest twitter brawl ever, Trump buddy (and notorious liar) Roger Stone accused Trump buddy (and notorious liar) Sean Hannity of trying to become Donald Trump's chief of staff in the White House.

Another conservative civil war? I'll let the tweets speak for themselves.

Bill Shine out.

Sean Hannity and his lackey Bill Shine blocked me from Fox because I blocked Sean's insane effort to become @realDonaldTrump WH COS

@seanhannity next. One down , one to go! I had to kill Hannity effort to become Trump WH COS #EgomaniacHousePainter

— Roger Stone (@RogerJStoneJr) May 3, 2017

Roger, with all due respect, I NEVER EVER ASKED to be considered for any WH job, nor would I ever have accepted, nor is that my skill set. https://t.co/P1yczkqL8a

— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) May 3, 2017

There was never any "HANNITY EFFORT" to kill. But if I was asked I would have painted the Oval for @POTUS and I would have done a good job. https://t.co/P1yczkqL8a

— Sean Hannity (@seanhannity) May 3, 2017

If I had painted the oval I assume that would make me an #EgomaniacHousePainter. I just want Americans safe, working, out of poverty. Best S https://t.co/P1yczkqL8a

I feel like there must be some backstory here that I'm missing.

I’ve no problem with legalising marijuana, either. To my mind, the only reason it’s not already been legalised like wine/spirits or tobacco is because it’s too easy to grow in a couple of vases on a window shelf. No profit, hence banned in the name of morality.

I do, however, take exception to Daisy’s claims to “lean left” and to trust Stone on other issues. That’s quite simply oxymoronic. While one can praise Stone for being in favour of legalising marijuana, that should not automatically make him an authority on other issues.

Personally, I tend to detest George Wills but had to cheer when he reportedly realised that a single-payer health system would probably be the only way to keep the GOP promises on health care. (cf. article in Crooks and Liars).

I have a hunch dear Daisy here may have a vested interest in the continued health of the marijuana industry…

I usually lean left in my political views but I rarely miss an opportunity to stay up to date with Stone’s comments and interviews. He is unique in that he’s the only political strategist/pundit who regularly sets liberals’ as well as conservatives’ rear ends on fire. His “bare knuckled” approach to the issues and events make people think beyond the cookie-cutter news and editorials found in mainstream media. As for Sean Hannity, Stone did him a favor. Hannity is a lightweight and I take Stone’s words over Hannity’s. For an example of why I keep up with Stone, he has an enlightened perspective on the legalization of marijuana and has some fun talking about the issue. http://www.mediaite.com/online/roger-stone-celebrates-420-by-tweeting-his-richard-nixon-bong/

Stone is full of sh!t. Everybody who can imagine Hannity doing an incredibly hard job like that out of the limelight, raise their hands.

When 2 serial liars are arguing what to do? Tune them both out.

‘Lord of the Flies’ had nothing on Trump and his many minions. Is there a desert island out there where we could leave these slimy creatures from the black lagoon to evolve for a few hundred generations?
