We’re all familiar with Fox News’ practice of blaming everything on Obama, from the recession to the deficit to gas prices to the warts on their feet. Last night, O’Reilly and guest Charles Krauthammer added "trying to destroy the Republican party" to that list, ignoring the fact that the Republican party is destroying itself quite effectively all on its own.
"It looks like President Obama is setting up the Republican Party for a very hard fall on both gun control and the debt ceiling," O'Reilly began, complaining that he isn't even bothering to offer the Republicans any compromise on either issue. Obama's prime goal in everything he’s done since his re-election, O'Reilly said, has been to damage the GOP, not to get things done. (Whaaa!? Methinks, gentle reader, that he shouldn't throw stones considering the glass house he and Fox are living in.)
Krauthammer agreed. All Obama’s interested in, he added, his setting up his entitlement state, and a split GOP is “all that stands between him and total dominance of Washington in his second term. He wants a return to 2009-2010 when he had control of both Houses. He had a super majority in the Senate, huge majority in the House, and revolutionized healthcare, and pass the biggest-spending bill and the stimulus in galactic history." (GALACTIC? Really?!)
Obama has two things going for him, O'Reilly said: the liberal media which always gives him a pass, and no leader in the GOP who can stand up to him. (And whose fault is that?) Krauthammer was a bit more optimistic. Nothing's permanent, he said, because liberalism won’t work. “It stopped in Europe and it will stop for the U.S.” “But I don’t want a catastrophe before that happens,” said O’Reilly, and the interview ended on that.

Gentle reader, the audacity of blaming Obama for the Republican party's troubles boggles my mind. Have they forgotten the ideological struggle between moderates and Tea Party types that tarnished the Republicans’ image so badly in the last campaign? Or the Tea Party’s complete lack of ability to compromise on higher tax rates? Or the collection of goofies, goons and gaffe-makers they presented, during the last campaign, as potential leaders for the world’s most powerful nation? Republicans don’t need Obama’s help to self-destruct. They're already marching en masse to the sea like lemmings, with Fox News bravely waving the flag.

The FOX “news” talking heads are loathe to have a real discussion in front of the folks about the animosity/challenges that exist between the moderate Repubs and the Tea Party “chuckleheads” but have no problem teeing off on the idea that it must be Obama’s fault? LOL! GOPers are destroying themselves and/or eating their own yet BOR, Chuck and FOX “news” decide its more advantageous to their side if they blame the right-wing dysfunction on the President because their reality sucks. Bwaaah! Keep it up, FOX “news”, we’re enjoying the laughs!

Nobody but nobody could claim the dubious fame of destroying the Republican Party, the fools are doing it all by themselves. Is it me or is Vile Bile’s program getting more absurd with the same tiresome people spouting the same bullshit night after night. And the morose negativity from the “Undertaker” is getting sooooooo old.

You can’t make up this stuff. The supporters of a political party who have been doing absolutely everything in their power to divide the Democratic camp is complaining because their own camp is in disarray?
My head is spinning.

Billy and Charlie blame Obama for splitting the GOP? Ahahahahah! Both of these clowns are fools. It’s the Tea Party destroying the Republican Party.
Krooked Karl has been instructed by Republican insiders to target the Tea Nuts, and remove them from the party. But the Tea Nuts are on to the Republican Party’s scheme, and they are going after Rove.
You won’t hear those details from Billy or Charlie, or the Fox “News” frauds.
NOTE TO BILLY AND CHARLIE
Since you two decided to keep certain facts from your audience, we will tell them ourselves.

That Krauthammer said this says a lot… though, not nearly as much as that O"Reilly didn’t seem to be concerned about that.

Contrary to bloviating Bildo and his wooden dummy Kraphamsters, the Repug Party’s demise will be the direct result of allowing the wingnut teabaggers to take over. In order to get through the primary process, Repug candidates must now steer hard to the right on all social issues in order to pander to the teabaggers. That pandering makes them unelectable in a general election.
