Lou Dobbs called on far-right, anti-Islamic bigot Pamela Geller to help fear monger about Muslims, demonize Islam, suggest President Obama is a secret Muslim and praise Donald Trump’s plan to bar Muslims from entering the country.

Dobbs introduced Geller as, “a leading voice in the fight against radical Islamist terrorism in this country.” I doubt most people would agree that Geller is a leading voice in anything except self-aggrandizing, Islamophobic extremism.

Dobbs cherrypicked a Muslim in Paris, a man who asked people to give him a hug after the terror attacks, and who is now facing jail time for a bomb threat. To Dobbs and Geller, this man represents all Muslims who are about to invade our country, thanks to President Obama, unless Donald Trump can stop them

GELLER: The incident neatly encapsulates  the problem we face with Muslim refugees. Here we have a man who was publicly claiming he was moderate and peaceful and actually shaming us into thinking or fearing any suspicions - you know, making us question ourselves. When in fact that he then went on to threaten an MP with bomb threats.

…The fact is, he claimed to be peaceful. He is a liar and a deceiver and this, too, best illustrates that adherents of Islam are called to violence.

…Obama tells us that the refugees are peaceful and good and in fact there will be jihadis.

Dobbs interrupted to make this supposed threat more of a slam against Obama.

DOBBS: This administration looks like a bunch of damn fools tonight.  …It is so ignorant what is happening in terms of immigration, the vetting of these refugees, the vetting of just straight immigration. …There is nothing remotely in me forgiving an administration who says the hell with our laws and who does not take every step possible to protect the American people and our national security.

Geller likened the San Bernardino shootings to her inflammatory, anti-Muslim “draw the prophet” contest in Garland, Texas, where a security guard got shot. Dobbs called her self-serving stunt an “art exhibit.” 

“What was put in place after Garland except blaming Pamela Geller?” she whined. “What was put in place into Garland except enforcing the Sharia?"

Apparently, in Geller’s mind, anybody not as Islamophobic as she is is “enforcing the Sharia.” Geller also complained that when Attorney General Loretta Lynch vowed to prosecute anti-Muslim hate speech after San Bernardino, she was “rewarding jihad terror with imposing Islamic law.”

Dobbs made no challenge to this crazy talk. Instead, he went on to suggest that President Obama is some kind of Sharia lover, too.

DOBBS: These are great risks that we run, that are being run by this administration. This is a president who is absolutely ineffective, incompetent or he is following an agenda that is unknown and hidden from the American people. It’s one or the other, we don’t have that answer. 

“The president is dangerous,” Geller agreed. “That’s why they are wild about Donald. Because finally somebody is saying something that no one else will say.” She said the Republican party will “go the way of the Whig party” if they try to end his candidacy with a brokered convention.

“You gotta let the people vote,” Geller continued. “If the people vote for Trump, and in this instance, on immigration, he’s right. Obama’s jihad-denial necessitates emergency measures”.

“Pam it’s always great to see you,” Dobbs said at the end of the discussion.
